My random gifting giveaway: To the first person to make me laugh or say something thought provoking or interesting (I chose) you will know when you receive it, though I may do a top 3 or even more until I run out of gifts you can message or pm me as well. I felt like present for present was getting dull so I was looking through the boards for someone who had posted something cool recently but didn't find someone to random gift yet..so I decided to make my own thread to seek out today's most interesting or funny thought. This is all me no need to participate unless you want to, but I'm going to keep gifting as long as I keep finding insightful, interesting or funny things to gift for. Can also point me to a thread you made through pm if you like.

Bill Gates farted in a apple store and stunk up the entire place. Too bad they didn't have Windows.

There are 10 fish in a tank. Seven swim away. How many are left? Ten. Fish in a tank can't swim away.

What do you call people who are afraid of Santa Claus?
Claustrophobic.

HAHAHA

Something thought provoking:
The food we throw away could theoretically be used to feed the people who need it. Supermarkets throw away perfectly edible food that you could theoretically just get from their trash cans for free...

I just think it's interesting. ;v;

Let's see if I can remember this...

So, a class was offered at a certain college about probability pertaining to the real world. This class was just like any other class in every respect EXCEPT for this: The only grade taken for the whole year was the final exam. So, the year went on, the final exam was nigh, and many students were studying (there were, naturally, those that weren't studying).
Finally, the final exam came up.
It had one question, and one question only:

"What is risk?"

Many students were laughing at the question. Obviously, it was the dictionary definition! No, wait, but it couldn't be that easy...
Others were hard at thought.

The final exams came back. Many got A's, many got B's, but only one person got 100%. When asked to share her answer with the class, everyone was stunned at the one-word answer. What was the one word?

It has to show the professor that the student knows and understands what risk is.
"This."
The answer shows that the student shows her understanding of risk by making a largely risky decision in writing only one word down. It also shows that the class itself is risky, its entire grade based off of one test with one question.
