Pikmin!

So here's a Pikmin thread.

Pikmin 3 was the first game I've played in the series. Now that I've played it and decided it's one of my favorite games of all time, I'm going to get a GameCube so I can play the first two in the series.

The first Pikmin game will always be my favorite because it's the first one I've ever played and beat 100%.

If you have a Wii they did a reissue of Pikmin 2 on Wii, also you can play Pikmin 1 Gamecube disks on Wii

Pikmin 3 is my favorite honestly. It looks so much better almost real at time, and the gameplay was more fun. I have some of the DLC too.

I'm slowly playing through Pikmin 3 as I get time, it's such a beautiful game. I am a bit bummed about the absence of white and purple pikmin though!! The fact that they didn't add 'em in and let you control five types seemed a bit odd.

i never played a Pikmin game alway though only sart couple stages ect ect, i always thought pikmin would play well on a 3DS Platform. Not sure whu it has not been released.

GameCube buying aside, Pikmin 3 is probably my favorite game I've played this year. I would like to possibly buy Pikmin 1, but haven't found a good deal lately for it, so I can only wait...

I only got Pikimin 3 today, because I almost forgot to register my Mario Kart 8 game. For some reason, I thought that it was only available to NA, so thank you to the people in the IRC who reminded me.

I haven't had the chance to play it yet though.

Pikmin 2 as a GameCube game is particularly rare, Pikmin 1 isn't rare but it is expensive. They've both been rereleased as Wii games, so instead of snagging the GameCube editions of them, grab the Wii one. Also, Pikmin 1 has a potentially game-breaking glitch that was fixed in the Wii version.

I remember watching a video where a guy had said that Pikmin 2 wasn't released in North America on Wii, but I just searched it and found out that the video was made a year before it came out in North America.

A pikmin expert here. Ive completed the first game a grant total of 13 times, the second one 5 times, and the 3rd one twice.
My best record for the first one is 12 days. Considering 9 days is the minimum possible time currently, I'm quite proud of that.

My cousin has Pikmin 3.

I went to her house to play it.

I sat in front of her TV for 4 hours non-stop.

Pikmin 2 was my favorite by far. It was much more difficult than the other 2 games, but I'm fine with that. It also took longer than 10 hour to beat, which is a plus.

Pikmin 1 blew me away. The 2nd was also really good. The third one I haven`t finished yet and that says a lot, I just lost interest. I dont like the three maincharacters setup. But i do love the franchise.

Now for the real test: Pikmin 2 is common on the Wii, but the Gamecube one is pretty hard to come by on the East Coast and Midwest in the United States. So who has the GameCube one as opposed to the Wii? I have both.
