After you beat the game will you be able to continue looking for fruit? Should I try to collect the fruit from now if not? I'm at the area where the big gunk thing is chasing you for Olimar.

I don't think so. I always get all the fruit before battling it though.

Once you kill the plasm wraith the game is over, so I often just leave him with a small amount of health so when I have finished everything I want to do, I can just go and quickly kill him.
