So here's the deal. The place I'm living at right now has extremely crappy internet connection and a lot of times when people try to visit my NL town they get an error message as soon as they get off the train. Sometimes it works, but a lot of times it doesn't.
With that being said, the most we can do is just try and hope for the best. I would advise you to go to his house, pick him up, & leave as QUICKLY as you can. There will certainly be no time to hang around & chat, with the internet signal always fading in and out.
I'll have my gate open so add my FC and hurry on over!
