Sure, again, as I said, I'm not sure if this person is in high school or college. I'm talking as a 25ish year old who has been supporting herself for over 5 years, and buying my own "fun" things for ~10 years. When I was 13~20, I didn't really know how to request the things I wanted (other than good grades), so I'm sharing helpful tips that have helped me gain the edge I needed to get ahead in life.
@Pharah, I literally can't even at your posts. Saying OPs parents owe them nothing? Frowing at OP "manipulating" their parents? Please. OP didn't ask to exist, OP's parents decided to bring them into this world. At very least they owe OP a roof over their head, education to make the right choices and become a functioning adult. Sure, a phone isn't any of those things, but I highly encourage OP to develop the skills needed to acquire those things even if they don't get them this time around.
Again, like I said, the parent's don't necessarily need to bend to OP's will, but it's not in the slightest OP's fault or best interest to bend to the will of those who decided to bring OP into this world.
