Phineas & Saharah - TOGETHER IN MY TOWN!!

Okay, so I've been working hard on badges in my main town. I'm trying to have at least a bronze for every category if not higher. This has meant a lot of waiting on Phineas to show up. Everything I've read about Phineas says he doesn't show up when other NPCs are in our towns. I think most of us have read this info.

Today when I went into Cutetown to see if I had earned the Gold Gardening Badge I ran around looking for Phineas. I found him and right before I started talking to him I noticed Saharah walk into view in the background! I was like "What the h*** l am I seeing right now?".

I pushed Saharah down towards Phineas and took a pic of them... together... IN MY TOWN!

I don't know if Phineas will show up if Katie or Redd is in town but we now have proof that he'll show up if Saharah's in town.​

Me too! Everything I read about Phineas said he didn't show up when another NPC was in town so I was so surprised!

Phineas has appeared in August during the fireworks show. Both Isabelle and Redd were in the event plaza.

katysu posted that Phineas was around during the bug off.

The only time I had problems with Phineas was when Katie was in town. Booker and the villagers said that Phineas was in town. I looked for him and couldn't find him. Going in and out of buildings didn't help so I took Katie to another town. Phineas was outside waiting for me. This happened before the update. Not sure if it got fixed in during the update.

Going to the police station and asking what's new helps. Sometimes Booker will tell you right away and other times you have to keep asking. One time I went thru what's new 10 times before he said Phineas was in town.

Another time Phineas was in town and gave me a badge and than stayed in the same spot. I went fishing and he was still standing there. I knew I was close to getting the amount caught for fish. Kept checking after 20 fish were caught and he didn't move until I reached the amount.

The timing of this was so ironic. Today I also had both Saharah and Phineas in my town! Unfortunately, Phineas didn't show up for my mayor and instead I got a badge on my alt, but still a badge is a badge.
