She is soooo cute!! My last cat that I had was also a tuxedo kitty and he was such a sweetheart and always full of love. He did sadly pass away due to old age, but he lived a loooong 16 years and we were always with him all the way until his final moments. We had adopted him when he was already 12 years old, so he was pretty old to begin with, but gosh he was beautiful. I’ll even attach a lil picture of him!
I feel as if my partner and I have some sort of weird energy that just attracts cats to us, because I swear that no matter where we go we are always running into cats! They usually are either feral or have collars, and so the majority of the time we leave them alone. However, if it is ever late at night and we find a kitty, we will try our best to find it’s owner if the cat has a collar. We have yet to ever take a cat to the shelter if it doesn’t have a collar, but it is a habit I want to get in the tempo of doing in the case any kitties are ever actually lost.
I have also wanted to start volunteering at shelters because I want to be able to give kitties that are scared and confused love and comfort. I feel as if that is what my cat would have wanted, and so I want to honor the feeling! I am also fortunate to live in a no-kill city, so no animals are put down unless they have absolutely no quality of life left in them.
