The Japanese release date is supposedly 15th September 2016. It should be coming out for NA in 2016 as well from what Atlus last told us about it but we'll know in this year's E3. Atlus confirmed that Persona 5 will appear at E3 2016.

A 20th anniversary-themed Collector's Edition was also announced for Persona 5 in Japan, including an art book, a soundtrack with songs from previous Persona games, and series-inspired DLC, including outfits from Persona 3 and 4. The set will be available for 13,800 yen (roughly $128USD). A Western version of the Collector’s Edition has not been confirmed.
Thrilled to see more party members revealed. Doubly thrilled that we've met two new lady characters. Feels like it's going to be ages before we see P5 stateside though so I've been trying to avoid any news... but who am I kidding, I can never stay away for long. I keep telling myself to expect the release date to be delayed since that's happened with the last several JRPG (and similar) releases I've looked forward to.
I'm so excited for this game! My aim is to complete Persona 3 Portable and re-play all of Persona 4 Golden before the game is released. I am in love with the art style and character/dungeon designs in this game, it looks amazing!
Also with the release of all female party members, (excluding other social link girls outside the party that we have not seen yet), the waifu wars will be strong, who do you guys think will be best girl? I'm in love with all them so far I can't choose! Also do you think there will be a gay social link romance in Persona 5? We haven't really had a gay romance yet have we?
I am so totally excited for Persona 5! This is one of the few games I want to save money to buy a Playstatyion 4 right now. I just hope I can get a playstation 4 soon. Unfortunately I will have to order mine online as there is no Gamestop where I come from anymore. But hey, as long as I can receive Persona 4 and the Playstation 4 in good condition, I am incredibly happy!
Tempted to buy it anyways cause Persona is Persona and 4 (Golden) is one of the best games ever.
