I had the perfect town rating for a while, but have somewhat redesigned my town with a lush forest in the northern half. I have filled in some areas with mushrooms and clovers, and my public works projects have not changed.
That said, I know that I have too many trees in my town to maintain the perfect town rating. I have also added a playable character but haven't upgraded his tent to a house--it fits more in line with the theme that he lives in a tent. My understanding is that this negatively affects the score.
Is there any reason to worry about this? I already have the floral clock PWP...but part of me is thinking at the least I should pick all of the clovers (even though I like the character they add to the town). What are benefits of maintaining a perfect town, besides more Jacob's Ladders?
