Hi,
So I have a problem achieving perfect town status.
It says my trees and flowers are balanced, but it says I have to do more PWPs even though I have 11.
How come?
Some of them are the same (2 round topiaries and 2 cobblestone bridge),
could that be why?

The original cobblestone bridges that came with your town don't count and neither do things like the dream suite.
Illuminated PWPs/ trash cans reduce satisfaction.
Maybe that could be it?

I re-constructed both of them, neither are the original.
And yes I mean 11 without the buildings (11 that I can demolish).
I have no illuminated PWPs or trash cans.

If you're willing to, I actually found it easiest to achieve perfect town status by chopping down trees/taking away flowers/etc.

I know that there's numbers floating around saying things like, "You need x amount of PWPs!" but what you really need is a balance between PWPs and greenery (though some PWPs count towards greenery, like your topiaries). If Isabelle says that you need more PWPs, you could add more PWPs, but you could also remove some greenery.

It shouldn't matter whether or not they're the same, but it also doesn't matter that you have 11 PWPs. The number is pretty arbitrary in my experience.

Oh... That's disapointing.
I can't really remove trees but I do have quite a lot.
I guess I'll just add more PWPs...

Yeah, sorry about that. You could try removing flowers as well, but trees seem to count for more points towards greenery. You'd probably have to remove a lot of flowers before you're done.

Edit: As an anecdote, I got perfect town with around 8 PWPs (including The Roost and the campsite). On the flipside, I also had very little greenery (very few trees, but mountains of flowers) since I started landscaping and literally ended up with perfect town by accident. Which just goes to show that there's so real set number that will give you a perfect town.

I should have tried to get perfect town before making my forests. Now it's going to be impossible,
but I really want that flower clock.

Don't give up! I'm sure you can do it!

I'm not sure how accurate this guide is, but it details which PWPs add towards your PWP point value as well as your greenery value. You probably don't want to add more PWPs that will add your greenery value, but other stuff should be fine. Definitely no trash cans, and I'm seeing conflicting sources whether or not illuminated/electric stuff diminishes your PWP value (it definitely does for your greenery value, but that's not as important for you), so you might just have to take a chance on those. Maybe if you have palm trees, you could try cutting those down? Those might be easier to regrow than if you were to destroy all your forests.

Thanks! That's really helpful.
I'll hold back on adding more topiaries for now even though I really want to finish my park.
Does the log bench act a normal bench or does it count towards green/nature?

Oh and another question:
I don't really get the 30 PWPs.
Does it mean you can have 30 in your town, or does it mean that you can build 30?
As in: If I destroy my topiaries do they still count in the 30 PWPs?

Just remember that once you get that flower clock (and that golden watering can if you want that), you're free to make your town the way you want it to look! You'll have that park in no time. And I'm honestly not sure about the log bench; it looks like the guide doesn't say either way. I'm going to assume that it acts like a normal bench, since otherwise, the developers would have to program it a special way to add to your greenery value, but as it is, it's lumped with the other regular benches. But I'm not positive. Sorry I can't help you here!

That means that there's a limit of 30 PWPs that can be in your town at any given point. If you hit that limit, but destroy a PWP, you'll still be able to build stuff.

Oh phew that's reassuring, thank you so much!
So I can destroy my topiaries now to focus on benches and such, and rebuild them later then.

Yep! I think that the game would be kind of broken if you could only build 30 things total, haha.

Also don't forget that you can demolish and build a PWP on the same day if you demolish something after requesting that you build something, but before fully funding it (if you ask to demolish something first, Isabelle just talks about being really busy and not having time to start building something. Same goes if you finish funding something; she'll refuse to demolish something and say that you should take a break). You might already know this, but it's a good thing to keep in mind since I'm guessing you'll be demolishing/building a lot within the next few days.

Best of luck! I'm sure you'll hit that perfect town in no time. :)
