Perfect town help!

Every time I speak to Isabelle she says the town is underdeveloped and needs more public works projects.
But I have a lot of pwp. What am I doing wrong?
Here?s my list of pwp:
- metal bench
- instrument shelter
- water well
- zen clock
- streetlight
-hot spring
- geyser
- geyser
- statue fountain
- stone tablet
- trellis
- zen Bell
- scarecrow
- fence
- bus stop
- archway sculpture
- windmill
- lighthouse
- Stonehenge
- totem pole
- moai statue
- square topiary
- square topiary
- tulip topiary


And the starter bridge , cafe, police, campsite

Well you also need a certain amount of trees, around 150 or so and not have any items lying on the ground.

But wouldn’t it tell me that I need More treees? Isabelle is telling me I need more projects. Also, I believe I have 150 trees as well as less than 10 items on floor.

Those pwp seem fine, I don't see why they'd be the problem. How many flowers are trees do you think you have? Also weeds, is there more than 10? Clovers don't count btw. 50+ flowers are needed as well.

Are the clovers that break when you pull considered weed? Because I have a few of those. But is it normal for her to say I do not have enough public works projects if it?s a trees im missing or if it?s weeds that need to be pulled? Wouldn?t she tell me I need to plant more trees or something to that extent? She is telling me that the villagers would like to see more public works projects.

Well then you just need more pwps.

I keep setting more but there’s barely any space left and I see some people say that they got their perfect towns at 10 projects..so I was wondering why isn’t that the case with me.

It is a bit odd. Cause I have less than you and I just got my golden watering can. From the 15 days of perfect town status. I do however have a lot of trees and flowers which helps.

I do wonder if some of the pwps you have are counting against it. Certain ones bring villagers dissatisfaction. And that might be the cause of Isabelle telling you that you need more. I do not believe the clovers that you can pull out count as weeds.

That’s what I was thinking but I can’t quite figure out which one is counting againtst me. I had the illuminated heart and removed thinking it would help and it hasn’t.

I definitely had less than you, with much less trees (had chopped off everything but fruit trees) and flowers, and still Isabelle told me I had perfect town status. It didn't last very long though. I had 1 weed, despite having the beautiful town ordinance, and lost the status. It was ridiculously frustrating. I managed to built the flower clock and upgrade my town-hall, so I guess it wasn't a total loss.

this is strange. i was able to get perfect town with 10 yellow benches :O

hmm... how many villagers do you have? i recall reading on reddit or possibly gamefaqs that have 8 or less you can lose or fail to gain perfect town status. so you need at least 9 villagers. i have no personal proof/experience that it works but i thought i?d throw it out there just in case.

I have 10 villagers. Ugggh I added three more projects and still getting the same message. I feel like someone needs to come to my town and see if I’m doing something wrong
I hope if I max on projects it’ll finally go away.

Ok I time traveled and built all pwp just to see and still she keeps saying this. I’m so frustrated since now I have to delete a few afterwards.
I read somewhere that too many trees affects your rating? I possibly have more than 200. Do I have to chop them all off? This is so sad...I just finished most of my landscaping.

110-200 is the requirement iirc.
