I have a mushroom and clover patch near my house and the perfect town status is still here so no
Things that are okay on the ground:
-Dandelions
-Clovers
-Shroomies~
-Normal Fruit
-Buried Fossils
-Buried Gyroids
-Actually I'm 99% sure any buried item is fine
-Also buried Pitfalls
-Seashells and Coral~
Things that aren't okay to have on the ground:
-Fruit BASKETS (Guessing their ItemID changes so they're not counted as fruit -SHRUG-)
-Weeds
-Pmuch anything you can drop onto the ground such as clothing, furniture, etc.
-Trash
-I've also heard perfect fruit is a bad thing to leave on the ground for some odd reason, but I might be wrong on that one. It was a weird little quirk I heard of
-The blood of your enemies
-Dandelions

actually i'm pretty sure that fruit is bad.
the thing is, you can't have anymore than 10 items on the ground. so if you had 9 pieces of fruit on the ground, you could potentially still have a perfect town

Famous mushrooms, similar to Jacobs ladders, actually come from having a perfect town status so it's a good thing when they pop up. Other mushrooms would also pop up normally if you have stumps all over so they shouldn't hurt your town status at all since they naturally appear sorta like with flowers. Clovers are not weeds and they don't count as one when you pull them for Lief so they're also not gonna have a negative effect on your town. Plus they make really pretty paths and borders.
are you sure? my town has a really low rating because i leave furniture/clothes/stuff all over the place and a famous mushie spawned for me the other day.

Can mushrooms spawn only in November? or all months?

They can spawn in all months but only next to a stump with a design.
