"Well, it was half true, I was in a private school but obviously not anymore. Lying isn't so hard when you get use to it."

"You know, we'll be in trouble when we go back anyway..." I say, changing the subject instead of talking about a private school in a first world country.

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

I shrug, "So? Nothing they could do frightens me."

 

[TheCreeperHugz]

"Yeah, they don't seem to realise that beating us isn't actually going to change anything," I laugh.

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

I sigh. "What should we do now?"

I pull out my phone. I notice that one of the tasks I was to complete was disrupt a school. Well, let's do this.

I shrug. "There isn't really much to do here..."

I go to say something, but then see another teacher looking for the school cutting students approach us and head towards us. "Crap!" I mutter under my breath. "Follow me." I turn to run into a darkened alley way and climb a ladder to the roof.

I follow quickly, climbing onto the roof. I watch the teacher from here, hoping they'll leave to look somewhere else.

"I think their gone now..."

"Yeah, I think we're safe for now."

I decide not to go to school today and wander the streets. I don't care about the inevitable beatings, no matter what you do, you eventually get the cane in this place.

I remember hearing that kids in rich countries get to learn about things like world history and geography. All we do in this place is learn about how great our dictator is, military terms and combat. I release a miserable sigh. I heard that they even get to have no school on the weekends - lucky.

"Hey Kyon? What was it like? You know, where you used to live, before you ended up in this hellhole," I ask quietly.

Travelling around the city, I spot Kyon and Sarah. I trudge towards them and lean against a wall. "Hi."

"Hey, Zara," I greet her.

"What did you guys get up to yesterday? Y'know, when I had to go home."

"Nothing much really. Nothing ever changes around here..."
