I walk around, not really sure of what to do. Then I see a group of other kids walking around. Since I'm bored, I decide to just go with them. "Hey, I'm Eron," introducing myself. "Where are you guys going?"

"Skipping school," I tell him simply, not bothering to introduce myself.

"Do you want to join us?"

"Oh sure, I love to play hooky!" I say excitedly, following them. "So what are you guys's names?"

"Kyon- EEK!" I duck, some dust flies next to my face.

I giggle, and wave the dust from his face. "It's okay, Kyon. The dirt is gone."

"I'm Sarah."

"Thanks..." I sigh.

 

[nekosync]

"Hi, Sarah." I beam. I felt myself perk up at the aspect of being able to leave school.

You realise we'll be punished for skipping, right? I think, but I don't say it aloud, since they probably don't care anyway if they're skipping.

I smile. "Nice to meet all of you," I say.

I spot a nice cafe across the street. "Hey, how about we go there?"

I push open the door of the cafe and peer inside. An old lady stood behind the counter, wiping the table with broad sweeps.
