What do you mean? Penguins in real life are fat. Which is why they're fat ingame.

Penguin - Puck. I'm Canadian, I watch a lot of hockey... this was really a no brainer. I don't like penguins much, though.
Elephant - Eloise. She kind of looks like a big banana. She's probably the cutest of them all, so I choose her. (Superficial, ack!)
Pig - Peggy. Honestly I hate the pigs, I don't think they're cute at all. Which sucks because I love pigs in real life, lol. But I have Peggy in my second town right now, and it makes me think of Peggy from Mad Men (one of my favourite shows) so I guess I'll choose her.
