Not sure if I should be upset with Pave or Nintendo for not having the foresight to actually make things orderly instead of random.

I hadn't played Animal Crossing for a week due to Bravely Default (over 100 hours already racked up) so I decided to play some Festivale and here are my results thus far:

34 times and I still don't have a complete set of 13 pieces, that's nearly TRIPLE the amount needed. It's so ridiculous I got the point where I grabbed 3 of each feather and I just keep resetting the game until Pave gives me what I need. I don't have patience to run around catching 3 of each feather for a dupe. Mama Snowman and Papa Snowman never gave me any trouble, I got all the pieces in an orderly fashion without any dupes. Snowman did the same, however after the initial set he went into random mode which sucked because I lost my Snowman Carpet somehow and it took over 20 Snowmen to get it back. Smarten up Nintendo, just make them cycle through the items over and over to make it easier for everyone. This is almost as bad as trying to obtain the entire Jingle series and Holiday set due to the randomness of Nook and the fact there are more items than there are days they are available I believe.

i feel your pain, after an hour i gave up on pave. oh well, i didn't like the series anyway. i plan on selling it sometime

but I don't understand why Jack, Snowman, Snowtyke, Snowmama, Snowpapa, Gullivery, and Pascal never gave me dupes the first time around, but Pave likes to break the rules for no apparent reason.

Especially with the amount of time Festivale takes, it should not have given out duplicates.
I hate the set anyways. Pave is so flashy, and his set is so... bleh. Luckily, each piece sells for 12,000 bells at Re-Tail, so once you get premium furniture, you can go sell the dupes for a lot of money.

There were a lot of trades happening on Monday. Most people completed their set despite Pav? giving out doubles.

Did you check your luck for the day before you started? If you are having bad item luck it's absolutely ridiculous trying to get all the items during holidays :/

Anyway, it's totally random, so I don't see much point moaning about it.

I agree, festivale was a pain. I didnt even try. I collected the feathers for my head as a decoration, then did a few furniture. Now, if the furniture was cute, i would have gone full on, but i didnt find the furniture that appealing. But yeah, i dont know why they chose random. You were persistent the most!

I finally finished it, probably just give all the extras furniture and feathers to my GF as she's been too busy working to get it and I don't know if the Japanese version has Festivale? March 3rd was Hinamatsuri in Japan.

My reason for wanting it is I have two extra houses for my mules, but I like to furnish them with un-orderable furniture
my girl (Astuko) has Snowman series, Snowtyke set, Ice series, Ski set, Christmas series (Christmas is orderable, but fits the Snow theme), Gorgeous series, and Princess series

my guy (Vincent) is Cardboard set, 7-11 set, Sloppy series, and now I will add Pave series somewhere within his house. Regardless of how ugly it is, I still have a set of it somewhere in my village. I even have the Balloon series in my museum :/

I made Resetti fairly upset because of the dupes I kept getting, but that is crazy.
