Creating a path is long and annoying process.
Does anyone have any tips on how this process could be sped up or made less annoying? Is it even worth it?
Thanks! ^~^

When i start pathing, I always make a simple template like "p" and plan before I place stuff down
If Im placing a nice path that has corners for example, Ill do them last

Not sure about any tips as it really is just a very long process. Although when I was doing mine I just had a movie on in the background so I could zone out a bit.
I would however definitely say it's worth it :) it really helps with organising your town when you have paths guiding you to different places. Without them I still wouldn't have a clue where to put projects and things. And they do set it off if you get a nice path.
I don't like placing them by the river or near a cliff as they can often hang over slightly and that really drives me mad. So I try and work around that by lining the paths with flowers and things

My paths weren't hard to deal with, more like, it just took a while to line them with flowers. Like a week irl. It probably just took me longer cuz I used the same flowers over and over, and only in one color... I think the most important part is to choose something that shows no grass beneath it, unless you choose one that can be changed easily for the seasons. I made sure my paths can be redone with each season, so that the tiny bit of grass peeking through can match at all times of the year :)

Eh it gets easier. I would say just start with what you know you need to path first (your house, the big tree, re-tail, town hall, ect) just do it bit by bit, eventually you'll know exactly what you want to be doing and where you want everything to connect! It is tedious though, not much you can do about that, unfortunately. But it is rewarding!

I just go around my village and figure out what ways I'm drawn naturally to go, since why lay a path if you aren't going to actually use it? So my paths are a mix of straight, curving, diagonal and what have you. It's whatever feels "right", you know? After that point, laying it is just a matter of time but once it's done you're set. :)

It's not that bad imo. Just start off with making the skeleton for your path that leads from a to b and then possibly expand on it later to make diff parts of the path unique or make it lead somewhere else.

I think the worst part of pathing is picking your QRs esp if you want multiple from diff sets. Hours of browsing :X

I just do my pathing bit by bit. I don't path the entirety of the town until i've placed public works down, and then start pathing around them to make them look nice. My town looks unfinished because of it but that way if I change the direction of where i'm going to put my path to certain areas, I won't have to undo it. It's much easier and more convenient. I say it's worth it, because it makes your town look more real y'know? and less barren they're also good if you're working towards a theme. Although dirt paths are pretty nice too, but just a lot of work. But they can make your town look really cute if you put enough work into it, but they always disappear when it snows so you've got to keep on top of them. It can get tedious too but it's all worth it in the end. I don't really put paths leading to my villagers houses' though, it's too much work. Good luck though!

Woah, that's long xP
Do paths really disappear in winter oh no o-O

May I say that my best advice is not to make paths? I've only very rarely seen towns where paths worked, most of the time they really seem out of place. Sometimes they are too close to the cliff and it looks awkward, they look very messy with paved areas like the town plaza, or the corners of the patterns lean over the edge of ponds.... I don't know, it was just never appealing to me. I prefer the forest/park look.

No natural paths dissapear in winter cx Natural paths are when you run over a certain patch of grass so many times the grass starts to dissapear and if you do it in a certain way you can make it look like a path. Aka a natural path. :)

I find paths nice, as long as you get the right path.

Well, that's really down to preference. I personally don't mind it too much when that happens and imo natural towns look boring as hell, but again that's down to preference.

how I manage my paths is by using the Bumberry qr code collection of paths. they have seasonal paths for spring/summer, winter and autumn. I place each section of the path (as it has a lot of elements to it) and every time the season changes I download the new qr paths in the same place as the old ones, so that way it automatically changes and I don't have to lay it down again. this way you only have to lay down your path once and as long as you make sure that old left corner of the path you downloaded is in the same place as the new one in your qr inventory then it will replace it automatically! hope this helps! <3
