Mario Party Character Choice

Do you have a character or two you frequently pick to be, in Mario Party games?
I often pick Monty Mole if he is available.

I usually tend to stick to just a few characters depending on which ones are in a particular game.

In Mario Party, Mario Party 2 and Mario Party 3, I'm most likely choosing Peach. However, I might also choose Donkey Kong since he's not a playable character option in some of the games afterward.

In Mario Party 4, probably Daisy, but maybe Peach, or Waluigi or Donkey Kong.

In Mario Party 5 and Mario Party 6, primarily Boo or maybe Daisy. Less likely, Peach or Waluigi.

In Mario Party 7 and Mario Party 8, Boo, Dry Bones or maybe Daisy. Less commonly, Peach or Waluigi.

In Mario Party 9, probably Kamek or Daisy but maybe sometimes Waluigi.

In Mario Party 10, I'm going for Rosalina.

In Super Mario Party, either Rosalina, Boo or Dry Bones likely.

In Mario Party Superstars, likely Rosalina, but maybe Daisy or Waluigi if someone picks her before me somehow.

In the upcoming Mario Party Jamboree, as you can expect from previous trends, I'll likely alternate between Boo and Rosalina.

While it's not necessarily strictly one or two characters, I do have general preferences as you can see.

i nearly always try and play as yoshi, he’s my favourite from the mario series of games and one of my fave nintendo characters overall, what’s not to love about a lil green dino

Older Mario party games I’d always choose Yoshi. Newer games like Super Mario Party I also like to play as Bowser Jr. or Pom Pom in addition to Yoshi.

For Mario Parties 1-4 I usually play Donkey Kong, or Yoshi if someone else grabs the monkey first >

Haven't really played the other ones much tho; in Superstars I'm all about Rosalina but fall back to Donkey Kong is she gets swiped >8)

I often choose Wario or Donkey Kong. However, Koopa Kid was my main in Mario Party 5. If only he were a playable character in the more recent games.

I always pick Yoshi; my sister and I as kids used to fight over who would be Yoshi and my friends that I played it with all liked Yoshi too. I have only played the original four and superstars. I’d love to pick Monty Mole if he was playable though .

Dry Bones whenever he was available! Literally my favorite Mario character. :3

Donkey Kong is my preferred character if he's available!

I don't really have a strong second preference. I'm also happy to just play as whoever if someone else in the group has a strong character preference.

If it’s possible to be Boo, I’m always going to be Boo.

If not, I tend to pick the “creature” enemy characters like Shy Guy, Dry Bones, or Monty Mole. If I absolutely have to be a human-looking player, I’d probably go for Rosalina or Luigi.

Always Wario. I have been using him whenever possible since I was 9. I don't see that changing anytime soon.

If we're talking about Superstars- I like playing as Wario or DK
I switch it up sometimes with Waluigi

Basically, Daisy or Toadette, whoever's available. But I mostly want to play as Toadette, but she wasn't a playable character for Super Mario Party (2018) and Superstars. Which is why I'm excited for Jamboree to come out this October as Toadette is playable once more!
