has anyone else noticed this? the other day a user was going to charge me over 5m for a simple easter item. (will not mention any users) i also see that people sell hybrids for 60 and up PER flower, plus bush starts for 40k EACH. id almost rather just wait and find what i need/grow my own hybrids since the prices can be pretty ridiculously high sometimes.

I personally charge 50k-60k ea. per hybrid. I actually don't see the reason to complain for that. Bush starts I buy for 10k each, and 40k is a bit ridiculous, though the demand is high. You see, it's simple. Whenever there is a demand for something, that's just a reason to make those prices shoot through the roof.
well put. however sometimes i may think that having to pay that much per flower is a bit high, especially if i could do it myself (which i do- i dont tend to buy flowers off tbt ^^). maybe coming from a different experience on other forums and AC websites, i found prices on here a bit high for my taste, but thats probably just me since ive never had much bells in animal crossing. the most ive had is maybe 20m in an older game, but since i do a lot of town and home improvement things like adding new rooms and trying to collect a set for a room and building town project at the same time, things can really add up fast for me.

i have a feeling since the AC community has grown a lot more, prices went up with the demand as you guys have stated before. my first ac forum was back in 09, and then people were only charging me maybe a few thousands or so per hybrid and not up in the 50k-60k mark.

you do? tbh thats a pretty fair price to me. i would sell them for that ^^ i can see how youd charge more if the hybrids took a long time to get (gold roses) but if its like something like a few pink roses that can be bred easily, then it doesnt make sense to charge 50-60 to me.

I've seen a few of my friends duping! It's annoying and frustrating to think that they can just get things so easily while others pay millions for it. >:U
i almost gave duping a try but deemed it unsafe since i dont wanna corrupt my game and it is pretty unfair.

I find 50k to be pretty fair for hybrids since it does take time and luck to grow them. Like I can't grow pink roses to save my life for some odd reason so I don't mind paying 50k. It does add up unfortunately. ><

I think the prices on Animal Crossing Community are WAYY higher than TBT. I bought a weeding set there for almost 4M when you can buy one on here for 2M

Hey, if there's a demand for the items, and people are willing to pay it, then there's really nothing that can be done about it.

you can just let people choose their own prices. i prefer it that way, i think. it seems a little more fair unless i deem it too low or to high, but if they insist on paying more, more power to them ^^
