Opinions on this map?

I've been resetting for a good map for a few days and the best one I've managed to get is this one:

it has nearly everything I wanted: cherries, that river shape, triangle grass, retail near the train tracks, centered plaza, a big private island, lots of space... the only issue I have with it is the town hall, which I wanted to be on top also near the train tracks. All of the maps I've had were like that so I dunno how to make it work with it down there in the middle :/

What do you think? Should I keep it or continue resetting?

Keep it! It's really good and everything's in a nice place. What are your villagers?

If it is just that one minor flaw, I'd stick with what you have because you might not be able to even find a map as good as that again if you keep resetting. It is not like you visit the town hall that often anyway.

Give it a shot. Walk around in it see if there's any rocks or anything in the way of where you would put a path (if you use paths). If you have the space, you could turn the area below town hall into a little park with a fountain and a bench and maybe have an archway with a path leading to TH. If you still don't like it after a few days then keep resetting, that's what I do when I start new towns and I find a map I think I might like.

I think it's a nice looking map Having only one lake and Retail up by the train track are definitely pluses. At least your Town hall lines up nicely with the plaza; you can put your cafe and police station in between and make a little mini main street area.

That's a pretty decent map! The one thing that really sticks out to me is that small pond beside retail :/ that could become annoying if you ever want to place paths. I really like the position of the plaza and the town hall! Overall it's a pretty good map.

It's looks really good! I'd keep that map for sure if I could c: River shape is not bendy and retails really close to the train station. And only 1 pond/lake (tho it blocks the Retails but oh well xD ) if you use plot reset method, you could fit as many houses you can on the south and use all the open space on top half to landscape / decorate c:

Personally, I like to get money from beetle farming on the island. So if you're planning on doing that a retail closer to the dock would be good. Otherwise, it's perfect.

The pond's a little weird, but the northern part of the map looks nice and spacious.

I like the river and all but the pond blocking retail would be enough to make me pick another one tbh

I like this river layout, but that pond is a deal breaker. I had a town with my Re-Tail and Pond exactly the same as you and it annoyed me every time I went to Re-Tail.

Definitely a keeper in my opinion. The layout is great and everything.

Keep it! Give yourself the challenge! The town hall doesn't matter anyway! Who even goes in it that much anyway ;o

I love it! I'm jealous The only flaw I see is what others point out and that is the pond, but with a map that good.. A little pond shouldn't stop you. Just takes only like an extra 3 seconds to go around it lol

It looks great! If I were you, I'd keep it.
There's a lot of land to work with and it just has one pond. Plus it already has majority of the things you find in a map. You might not be able to run into a map as good as that if you reset.

I really love the placing of your town square, its a very pretty map ^^ The only thing that would bother me is the beach with no slope down to it.
