opinions on the octipi?

i think they're cute but i dislike how they walk? its like they have 6 legs in total with 3 combine on each side and they move those 3 like legs. i wish they moved kinda more fluidly but its fine. their legs r just kinda cursed in general tho

Love Marina, she's so cute, I have her on my island. I had Octavian in New Leaf and loved him too! Zucker is very cute, encountered him on an island and considered him but didn't go for it. All in all, big fan of the octopi!

I love them!! I had all three in my New Leaf town at one point but now only Zucker remains. They're too cute and funny! <3

Before it felt like having an octopus was rare. Now it feels like everyone has one of them. So I don't feel as lucky to have Marina.

Marina being a normal personality is putting me in a tough situation as well. I really want Kiki and Lolly, but I don't want three normals. I haven't found either of Kiki or Lolly yet, so I don't have to worry about it right now.

I like them, but they get boring real fast, except maybe Octavian. Normal/lazy are really boring in this game let alone Vesta and some others.

I didn't care about octopi until I saw Zucker on mystery island. I decided to invite since I needed a lazy villager. Well, I love him now! He is so sweet. I also love takoyaki in real life.. haha.

They're alright. I like Marina and Zucker, though I wish Nintendo added more octopi villagers! Hopefully there will be more in the future.

I really like them as well, but now I'm seeing them so much on other peoples' islands tho, I hope they add more octopi so that we can have more variety of them!

I might be in the minority here, but I am really not a fan of the octopuses at all... Marina is ok I suppose because shes cute, but I'm really not a fan of Zucker or Octavian at all. They just look, so weird to me... It probably didn't help that when I went villager hunting the three of them would just not stop showing up orz

I have both Zucker and Octavian. Zucker was the first photo I got, and since he doesn't have a fancy house, he can go whenever he wants now. Definitely keeping Octavian around, since he fits the theme of my island.

I'm fond of the Octopus model, and would like to see more of them added to the roster in the future.

I quite like Marina and Octavian. I've been fond of Octavian since I discovered him in the GameCube days, when I encountered him in my friend's town while visiting, and was overjoyed when he decided (much to my friend's chagrin) to move into my town. He was the only Octopus villager at the time and I loved having him in my town, though unfortunately he moved out of my town too. I eventually reacquired him years later in New Leaf, and he has been a permanent resident of my main New Leaf town for years. I was quite happy to learn of Marina's addition in New Leaf as well, and she has lived in that same town for years as well. She's a cute design and a delight to have around.

On the flipside, I really do not like Zucker's design. Usually I'm more interested in unique designs, but the whole takoyaki design just doesn't work for me; most of the food-inspired villagers don't really work with me, to be honest.

Inkwell was okay, if a bit bland. I don't really mind his absence.

initially, i adored marina and marina ONLY. but then i found zucker and he grew on me so fast. i'll probably like octavian in 6 months from now too lol.

I think the octipi are super cute! My personal favorite is Zucker, because I think his design is adorable. Sadly though, I don't have enough room on my island for him.
