Opinions on Plot Resetting?

I've tried plot resetting once, and I personally don't have the patience for it. If you have the patience for it, I'd say go for it! I've seen some towns with perfectly lined up houses, and it's astonishing what you can achieve with plot resetting. And then again, I've seen people tear their hair out (like myself) trying to get them to plot in the right spot, sometimes taking weeks, so it's a give/take.

I plot reset but I don't do it for long. I don't care where they set their houses down as long as it isn't in front of any buildings, and doesn't interfere with my paths. I'm also slowly placing PWPs around certain areas so no villagers move there. It doesn't always work as well as I want it to, however.

Ive been playing since launch and I used to not bother with it. If a villager moved into a bad spot and I liked them enough to keep them I'd just deal with the bad placement and make it work. Last year though I started plot resetting and now I'm pretty addicted to it. I love having all of my villager houses in perfect rows.

I think plot resetting is great! I love having a sense of control when it comes to where villagers place their houses. It takes forever though but once you finish you feel amazing.

I love the outcome of plot resetting, I hate doing it.

I have a random that I know is going to try and move in sometime soon and I refuse to let them plot over the little bit of landscaping I have actually done.
So I haven't been TT to avoid them coming in over my good areas.

Plus maybe I can get a dreamie out of it if I reset enough times and they land in an okay spot lol.

I hate doing it...it is so difficult and annoying

but it is worth it in the end trust me!

I plot reset, it just takes a bit of time every now and then. So to balance it out I have one town where I plot reset and one town where I don't! Kind of fun not plot resetting and working around houses to make the best of what ya get.

I've tried so many times to get my villagers on one side of town. I did well in an old town I had, with only only like four of them scattered in different places. But my luck isn't usually so good, so I tend to just settle for "not in a generally bad spot" lol. I'm getting a new copy of the game soon (I have a problem u_u) and plan to be extremely diligent with plot resetting though!

I plot reset, but I'm not too picky. Usually I'm fine with any spot that doesn't trample my flowers or paths. i hope that in the next AC game, we could choose where to plot houses instead of this tedious process.

I like plot resetting, i plotted Walkers house this morning and it took less than 5 tries! I adopted Diana from a cycler today so hopefully it won't take too long either! I don't mind too much where my villagers houses are just as long as they're not placed on flowers, paths etc =)

I don't plot reset, and really aren't particularly fond of the ultra orderly town layouts that do use it (just looks too artificial to me), but I've no real issues with it either.

Though that said I do hope whenever the next game comes out that it returns to the previous games' system of house spots being all predetermined and has tutorial signs where they are, with the excess spots being usable for special visitors and such.
