Opinions on merry, marina, maple, and alice

merry: she’s one of my absolute favourite villagers!! it’s been a while since i’ve seen her in-game but she’s genuinely so precious and is one of the best cats imo
marina: she’s adorable! i’ve currently got her on my island in new horizons and she’s the sweetest; she’s one of my favourite normal villagers and i just love everything about her c’:
maple: a cutie! she has such nice forestry vibes and she’s great!
alice: i don’t really care for the koala villagers but she’s not bad!

Merry: One of my favorite villagers and cats in the game. I got her in Nl and NH; I feel like I clicked more with my peppies in NL than Nh, regardless, I still love her

Marina: She’s pretty cute. I have passed her up many times since there are many other villagers I want more, but I may eventually invite her so I can get her picture.
Maple: Adorable
. I really like her eyes, color and overall design and she is one of my favorite cubs; I like a lot of the cubs designs (pudge is my favorite though I kinda wish his eyes looked different).
Alice: I don’t like her design at all; one of my biggest turn offs about certain villager designs is makeup especially lipstick. I also don’t like any of the koalas, though I might eventually grow to like Gonzo at the very least since some of @LittleMissPanda’s screenshots showed him and I couldn’t help but think he looked a little cute. With that being said, I’m sure she is a lovely villager and sweet. Nothing wrong with liking her or feeling differently. I am picky about villager designs though I’m becoming less so.

Merry: I’m surprisingly NOT that into the cat villagers; they’re some of the cheaper looking villagers. Merry is no exception; her design is okay at best and a little bit boring at worst.
Marina; she’s in the middle of the pack of octopi for me; better than Octavian but worse than Zucker. She’s cute but the over focus on pink kills her appeal for me...
Maple: Oh man she’s my favorite of the bunch you’ve listed! I’ve had her in every AC game from CF beyond and she’s always been charming having her on.
Alice: probably my least favorite of the group listed. As someone else stated, they ruined her design by giving her lipstick. I’m also not the biggest fan of koala villagers (there’s a couple that are fine, though).

I never noticed Merry until her redesign in New Horizons, but now that I’m aware of her, I think I like her New Leaf version a lot better. Maple was my first normal in New Leaf so she’s my favourite New Leaf normal. I don’t really have opinions on the other two.
Merry - she is adorable and sweet. I've never had her personally but I've visited with her. Her design is cute.
Marina - she's SO cute and the normal personality type is my favourite. I find her really sweet and kind and adorable.
Maple - my favourite cub. I love that her design makes her look like an actual bear cub. Again, normal personality type and super cute. I love her pink cheeks.
Alice - I don't even know what she looks like off hand.

i’ve never had any of these villagers personally but i’ve seen them all in dream towns and they’re all adorable and really nice!!
Merry- aesthetically a little bland but there is nothing wrong with her, she seems pretty cool as a cat villager. Reminds me a little of Katie for some reason? She has a child like charm about her.
marina- she’s awesome and have a lovely design. I have had her in my town in the past and really enjoyed having her. She wouldn’t be one of my absolute favourites though.
maple- got to love the Cubs and maple is no exception. She’s lovely and I have enjoyed having her but again, not an absolute favourite either.
alice- looks nothing like a koala (although none of the koala villagers do) I have no quarry with her and I like her quirky design a lot. I would have no problems with having her in my town if she turned up and my campsite or I got her card.

fact is i have all 4 of these girls, i just want molly for nl, i love ducks and i need 2 get rid of at least 1 normie and replace that normie with molly, as soon as i get there pics, any recommended fm villagers of any personality?
Merry: Very, very cute (like all the rest of them). She was in my campsite in Pocket Camp and she still managed to be so likeable and kinda derpy despite the dialogue and personalities in that game being incredibly bland and repetitive.
Marina: Would fit perfectly in a cutecore themed town/island. Her shirt in New Horizons suits her so well. Also I'm pretty sure she has a little tiny bow on her head! +100 cute points!
Maple: Her fur texture in NH makes her look like a little stuffed teddy! She would also fit into a cutecore theme or something similar, maybe even something forest themed because of her name. She's very sweet but I gotta say the more I look at her the creepier her eyes look...
Alice: Not a very common villager from what I've seen so she could make your town/island more unique. However, I don't really know many people who like the koala villagers to begin with so yeah.

Maple: She is the only one of these four villagers I've ever had in one of my towns. She was a starter in my second town and I thought she was really cute. But she didn't fit my theme and her house was in a bad spot, so I let her leave as soon as she asked to move out. I don't have very strong feelings about her, but I think she's a very nice villager.
Marina: Honestly, she's too pink for my taste. Pink is my least favorite color and not only is she all pink, but her house is too. Other than her color, I like her overall design, though. If she was somehow less in-your-face pink I'm sure I'd like her a lot more.
Merry: I'm not normally a huge fan of the cat villagers, but I think Merry is adorable. There's something about her expression that makes her look so charming.
Alice: She's not my favorite koala (that would be Yuka or Sydney) but I do think she's very cute. I'd be very happy to see her show up in my town one day so I could get to know her.

I'll preface this by saying that I've never had any of these villagers in my towns, and that I wouldn't be upset if any of them moved in randomly. with that out of the way...
Merry: While not my favorite cat villager by any stretch, she's cute and not a bad choice for a peppy... although admittedly I would rather have certain other animals for peppy villagers besides cats (squirrels are the best peppies, IMO).
Marina: She's definitely cute, but I've never quite understood her extreme popularity. Perhaps one day I'll get her in my town and will fall in love as well.
Maple: She's very cute and a perfectly acceptable normal villager. Personally, I prefer certain animal types for certain personalities, and in an ideal world, I would not want a cub as my normal villager of choice. There's certainly nothing wrong with her, however.
Alice: You know, I never noticed that Alice's model had visible lipstick until I read it in this topic... and now I can't unsee it, and it's weird. So... yeah. She's a cute and nice normal villager, but I have to admit that I liked her a little better before I noticed the lipstick.
