i've had a qr code path in almost all my towns, and i decided i want a natural dirt path for Cryptid. except now i'm thinking i might just........not have one?? my town is really foresty so it kinda fits, but it might look messy. what do you guys think?

i love the look of dirt paths but the maintenance is off putting so i’ve never used them throughout my entire town, just certain areas where my qrs wouldn’t look good or make sense.

As someone who had a town of natural paths.. UGH. The maintenance on them is way too much of a hassle to make it worth it. It's only worth it for the Dream Address town visits, since it won't change for them. I've just been looking for a QR dirt path pattern (with no luck yet).

None of my many towns have an artificial path. If one happens to appear by frequent foot traffic, ok. I just don't care....

My paths are not dirt, but I have a ton of clovers that I put down and trees bushes and flowers on the sides so you can tell where to go. I'm still debating on actually making the dirt paths cause I kinda like it being just the clovers for now.

None of my towns ever had a any paths. I prefer more to have a town with no paths since my town
theme is going to be forest-ish most of the time.

I loathe patterns and have always had dirt paths.

Beautiful, and natural.
The way nature intended.

If they are really nicely landscape with bushes and trees they really look gorgeous! however if its just an all natural no way of direction, I just personally don't like them. I wouldn't know where to go when visiting it, and it looks incomplete. I like my towns with paths though, since they ensure I don't trample things and help me navigating.

I haven't bothered with paths yet, but maybe. I feel like I need more PWPs or else I don't really know what kind or where the paths should go?

My current town has no paths, I tried putting them down but didn't like how tedious and painstaking it was to put them all down so I just gave up. My town isn't "foresty" but, in my opinion, it looks really nice! Gives it a fresh and clean look with just the flowers and bushes that I've planted on the ground.

They look messy and incomplete to me but I've seen a few that looks really nice, well because they're properly landscaped with dirt paths and good combination of flowers, bushes and trees.

I've laid down paths in all of my NL towns. They don't always looks the greatest, by the impossibly high standards set by some people's dream towns, but they look nice enough for me.

I wish I could have a natural, no path town, but I feel that having paths helps add a sense of direction to my towns.

While having paths definitely looks aesthetically pleasing, I prefer to keep my town without paths since the natural feel is nice.

I like the natural paths I've seen in dream towns, but I couldn't maintain them myself, partly as I load many times in an in game day & I find it hard to keep to my paths as it is.
I was reluctant to put down paths in accf - I was used to the 'no grass wear go where you like' of acww - and I got a lot of grass wear & hence reluctantly put down paths.
I didn't really like them but got used to it and now, as soon as I make an acnl town I place down a pattern from Mable/what's in my pocket, till I work out the routes I want. The I use QR codes. On less used paths I have flowers - so its a path but doesn't look like one.

I have natural paths in my town, and I prefer them. Of course, since the snow just melted, the grass has grown back, but it won't take long to re-establish them. Everything is bordered by trees, bushes, or flowers, and I recently changed to the Beautiful Ordinance, so I don't have to go tramping all over to water.

I've tried patterns, and while I've seen some other towns that do them well, I can never make them look right. I have a few patterns down, right now, but those are simply markers for where I will plant bushes.

I like it when players make towns work without using many patterns/paths it's something you don't see a lot of in the game anymore as New Leaf made pattern sharing so easy with the QR codes.
