Opinion on the anteater villagers?

I worship the GROUND Antonio walks on. I feel like him and Michael Jackson anteater (Olaf) are underrated. I know that some people view them as ugly, but I think their snouts make them so cute. I just started New Horizons and so far have invited my three villagers besides my starters, so for now (since Hornsby’s house is in the process of getting built, Ketchup and Poppy’s are all finished) all the islands I travel to don’t have villagers. When Hornsby’s house is done I am going to search for Antonio and find the king of honks.

I probably wouldn't have anything against them, but Antonio was my forced upon me as first camper and I don't like jocks so, he got the boot. Then my friend got him from my void and basically felt the same lol. I think she got him out finally.

I got Snooty's amiibo for her RV stuff back in New leaf lol. I think I just have too many species preferences ahead of anteaters to appreciate them.

I honestly think they're adorable. I think Antonio's my favorite but anabelle and pango are pretty cute aswell to me. I just like their design and its funny to watch their snouts move when they talk or do certain expressions

I really like Antonio. He was my husband's starter jock and I was so jealous!

I ended up inviting Annabelle to my island but I don't really like her - none of the cute clothes look good stretched around her big tummy! Haha

I wish the clothes didn't stretch on them because otherwise I think the anteaters are really cute.

(Except Olaf! He moved in right next to me in ACNL and was creepily flirty with me!)

I like the anteaters. Olaf was my first campsite visitor, and he's quickly become one of my favorite villagers. I also have Antonio, and he's cute, but I'll be letting him leave when he asks.

I love them! Their little snoots and tails are so cute ;^; Snooty was my one of my dreamies and I was able to get her fairly quickly thanks to a kind person on here who was giving her away. I love her so much and I'll never part with her! I'm kind of surprised anteaters aren't more popular since they're so small and have such a range of distinctive designs.

I think they're cute and very unique. I don't have any, but I wouldn't mind having one!

I wish Zoe would make a comeback. I love her base colors.

I really do like the anteaters, I like their models and a lot of them have really interesting designs. I think my favourites are Pango, Cyrano and Annalisa.

I don’t want any of them for my island, but some people on Youtube call villagers like Annabelle ugly or freak out if she is a random move in. I think she looks decent and I’d be fine with her or Antonio randomly moving in. I’d kick them out later but still, they aren’t all bad.

I really hate that. I think that Annabelle is especially cute, honestly. I've seen her on a couple of Nook Miles Islands and kind of regret not getting her, but I didn't need any more peppy villagers. Something about her colors/texture reminds me of a pangolin.

Antonio was my starting jock! Their tails are so fluffy. I like some of them, like Antonio, Olaf, Pango, and Cyrano.

Annalisa is my favorite villager overall so, yes, I guess I like them Their snouts and tails are the most adorable thing ever and Olaf absolutely wins in the cute-tail-department I'm lowkey obsessed with his tail right now, I think it looks like burlesque feathers and is just so, so pretty! Not as pretty as Annalisa, though.

Edit: Forgot to mention that anteaters are among my favorite animals IRL, so it's not that surprising that I love them.
