Opinion on Poppy/the squirrel villagers in general?

Poppy is on my island and I love her sm. Not only do I share a birthday with her, but my childhoods best friends name is Poppy, and I love to read, just like Poppy. She has so much character and is not recognized enough as a great villager. She’s constantly talking to me, very excitedly, about the books she is reading. She is so sweet! She is my favorite squirrel villager. Some of the squirrel villagers (Peanut, Poppy, Caroline) are all very underrated. Opinions?

I find Poppy very cute, but she isn't my favourite squirrel and I would pass on her if i saw her in an island. Another thing is I always found K.K. Lullaby depressing so i felt sad going into her house in New Leaf lol.

My favourite squirrels are Mint, Caroline, Static, and Sylvana, the first two being my ultimate fave squirells.

I completely agree with you! I LOVE the squirrels and think they are amongst the best designs in the game... and Poppy is on my eventual islander list. Right now, I have Agent S and Peanut.. though, in the end, Agent S will have to go (I think the peppy personality doesn't fit her vibe at all) I love reading as well, and can't wait to pretend I am talking with Poppy about books

I also really want Sally, for the music in my town

EDIT: my other favourite is Blaire! She or Whitney will be my eventual snooty villager!

I find the squirrel villagers adorable. I don't know why, but I just love their big fluffy tails. I know the proportions of their bodies seem off, but they are still cute. I saw a picture of Poppy's house interior recently and it looked amazing! Also a notable shoutout to Blaire and Mint, who are also some of my favourite squirrels.

Poppy is definitely one of the cuter squirrels. However, she doesn't beat Marshal, Peanut, or Caroline for me. Overall, the squirrel villagers are pretty cute. They don't beat the deer for me, but they come close.

I adore Poppy so much! I really wanted her to be a dreamie but can't find it in my heart to replace my main dreamies. I've got two squirrel villagers which include Static and Marshal. Static is probably my favourite, I fell in love with his design because he looked so much like my Cyd. I knew I had to get him and was so happy when I did. Marshal is my little smol bean who I must protect, he always likes to talk to Raymond about the importance of beauty sleep.

Ah, I wish we could have more villagers though to get more of the squirrels.

In general I like the squirrel designs. In fact, I have two (Sylvana, whom I invited as my first normal villager, and Marshal, whom I came across on a mystery island by chance). However, while I like Poppy's colors, I don't like her eyes, so I wouldn't invite her to my island. I'm very picky in that sense.

I love Poppy. I think she might be my favourite squirrel villager. I love squirrels in general. They are so small ans cute

I really love Poppy, she's such a sweet little squirrel. I also have Peanut and Pecan on my island. I adore all three of them.
I really love the squirrel villagers though, I love how small they are and they have some really cute designs.
I was considering having about six different squirrels on my island, but I'm not sure if I still want to do that or not!

The squirrels are really cute. I have Mint on my island, whom I adore, and I also really like Static, Filbert, and Sylvana. I’d have more squirrels in my town if we could have more than 10 villagers tbh.

She's my original villager in New Leaf. Like everyone else here, we all love her. I really want to meet her again one day. But I have a Felicity to catch first and some others.

By the way, squirrels have those fluffy tails that you can't resist staring at.

Squirrels are such good villagers, they're so small!
Poppy, Hazel, Sally, Blaire, Filbert, Mint, Pecan, Static and Sylvana are great designs.

But truly, Sheldon is hands down my absolute favorite squirrel

I love poppy, she's so excitable and sweet! I really don't understand why she isn't more popular. However my favorite squirrel villager is Pecan, she acts and speaks so posh and i find it so funny, she such an eloquent little squirrel
