Hello!
So, this is my feast room on the left side of Mayor Mei's house:
The way it's laid out, you can clearly see all of the 10 villager pictures, but can't actually reach them as the black cats block the way on both sides. So it's impossible to read the picture messages.
If I move the tables of Dora's and Agnes' pics one square up, a passage is opened, but then Angus' and Butch's pics are blocked and hard to see, even if you can interact with the other ones.
So, which do you prefer? The way it is or should I move the tables up one block?
I love it! I've been actually trying to plan a banquet hall myself and this is great inspiration! Its going to be in a totally different style (so don't worry, I won't copy you) but I love the layout.
Personally I like it exactly like you have it. Then again, I'm not really the type to interact with the pictures all that much
Whatever you decide, congrats on a great looking design!
I like it!! It's super cool! I agree with Silver though, if you wanted to be able to interact with the pictures, I feel like removing the black cat by the door would allow you to do that and wouldn't really harsh the vibe in any way
Thank you, everyone! ♪
I didn't want to remove the cat since there's going to be an open spot at the table... I feel it will break the pattern... but I'll try it out and see how it looks, thanks!
This is one of the most amazing rooms I've ever seen! I honestly wouldn't change a thing. If you felt the urge to read the photos one day you could send the black kitty to the "litter box" for a few moments, read all the pics & then have black kitty rejoin the festivities. I can't stop looking at this room! Just beautiful!
Wow, it looks amazing! Hmm how about removing the chair (forgot what it's called lol) and move the black cat in its place? Also, you can opt for another furniture like a cushion refurbished it to match the theme instead of leaving the spot empty (after moving the black cat to the right) since you can just sit on them, move around then your character will be on the other side. Try to switch the placement of the black and gold/orange cat on the other side so both the black cat are facing each other.
If you really don't want to remove anything, try to move the smaller tables up then rotate the pictures like Dora is facing east and Agnes facing west. I'm not sure how it will look like, especially the latter, but just try I guess.
ah i love rooms with such warm colors and a nice theme ;v; <3 the pictures just add on because it looks like a thanksgiving feast and youre thankful for your villagers :'D or im looking too much into it, but really, great job <3
I agree with the grand master leor, move the black cat over and use a cushion (like from snooty's rv, I think) so you can swivel around.
I personally have never bothered interacting with pictures, partially because I forget I can.
