Opening Old Time Capsules

I started playing, digging up crappy items like gyroids, and I stumbled upon a time capsule. Now, I didn't know who it was from, and it was near Fauna's house, so I tried giving it to Fauna. No prompt. Then, I look, and I see it's from Filbert, a villager that I gave away months ago (October or November). In his farewell letter he told me to dig up the capsule, but I had forgotten the location. This was...wow. Words can't describe what I'm feeling right now.

Inside was a yellow tartan shirt. I had to throw away the capsule, since you can't save them in the save the letters thingamajig.

same thing happened to me after jacques moved out
i almost cried because i missed him so much and it was a really cute letter... like he knew he was leaving :'(

I opened one of Butch's by mistake instead of selecting "bury" I chose "read" and it was a letter about burying an old item to see if it's worth anything in the future, and if not, he could just sell it to me. lol
