When I started going online (waaay back in the day when Neopets was a thing) I was incredibly shy in real life and used public forums as a way of expressing myself and learning about different things.
My online personality may only seem different if you don't know me in real life. Other than that though, they're pretty much the same, I'm just a bit quieter in real life.
I'm way more reserved/shy, quiet, awkward, serious, and often misunderstood if I'm offline. It also happens if I'm not around my family or close friends. If you like what I like, I think we'll get along great. Otherwise, I seem to come off as aloof, cold, and at times, unapproachable but I'm really friendly once you get to know me.
Whereas when I'm online, I can be more chattery and open and maybe weird especially if I am comfortable around people. I'm more open towards people who have alot in common with me. If we don't, I'm likely to remain quiet or not know what to say, so it makes the conversation really awkard. But I'm also usually sweet/friendly to those I don't know but due to some issues, I've become somewhat reserved and wary to but it really depends on the person and whatnot. But if I meet new people, I'm usually friendly towards them and I always try to get along with most people. But most people who've met me online said that I'm sweet so yeah. xD
I'm very shy and quiet in real life. I usually never like to be around people to be honest haha, online I'm much more comfortable and a little more talkative than in real life.
I find myself much more open and clear-headed online. I talk more sense and seem to know exactly what to say. In real life, I'm more quiet and private and when I talk I'm a bit all over the place. Go figure. I'm clearly more of a writer.
