My biggest complaint has always been more storage.

Same here--the lack of storage slots can be quite frustrating. What I also want is that tools should be stored in a separate tool belt so they won't take up a regular storage slot.

Bring back quests for items that don't junk up villagers' houses.

There's a lot of things I would change...hard picking just one I guess the main one is being able to choose where villagers plot. Plot resetting can be such a nightmare sometimes and it's so tedious. There's really no reason why we can't have something like Isabelle telling us somebody is plotting their house today on the load up screen, then she takes us from our house to decide where we would like the villager to go.

Uhh ohh.. I would most probably... Even add more graphics and change of weather and water, OR I would do something to villagers... Like decide where their houses are...

One thing I would want changed is not even the ability to choose villagers or house placement even though that would be amazing. I want all PWP unlocked by default, diving trick is awful, I was busy for long long weeks before I had all the stuff I wanted.
I would dig in Muffy close to shore and run up to her after diving over and over... sigh

I don't care as much about in the morning but for the love of all that is holy give me something more to do at night! I have a busier schedule than I ever had before and I'm a night owl so I like to play my video games later at night, but in acnl there is close to nothing to do, especially once the shops close. I want at least a few things that make playing at night not significantly worse than any other time, like special events that only happen really late. Imo the only advantage for playing really really late or really really early is the chill music.
