one thing I hate (it's really small but it makes me so mad) is how every single freakin time you buy wrapping paper then timmy/tommy offers to teach you how to use it. I know how to use wrapping paper pls shut up and let me purchase in peace

Well even if she was your last dreamie you can always do the 16 villager cycle, it would take along time but it would be worth it!
Yeah it would take a long time! 2 years if I played it nonstop, no sorry, it would actually only take about a decade

That would be pure chaos. xD I could go with a few more villagers, maybe 2 or 3 to make things interesting. I run out of people to talk to really fast with the default 10.
Also I totally second the pattern/paths thing. I only use a 1 tile path because I can't stand messing with 10+ slots but my path never looks as nice as it could because of that.
Yes!!!!! This x1000 I never buy wrapping paper because of this
I feel like one thing they should change is the way that you place furniture. I loved how in HHD you could use the bottom screen to move everything around and not have to move it so much with your character (but if you wanted to, you could). Once I got back to playing New Leaf after finishing HHD, I was trying to use the bottom screen like in HHD on accident. Whoops.

That's kinda an unfair question, because as much as I like this game, there are MANY things I would like to change, and-
... oh wait, so can I actually rant about it to my heart's content? That's nice!
Joking aside, I'm telling the truth. The losing villagers you mentioned is one of them, of course, but it's not the worst by far, FAR. How about getting a say in where the new neighbours place their houses? And I know this has been complained upon greatly by most of the players.
Same as diving creatures going past boundaries where you can't follow
But diving controls themselves also need improvement, in my opinion.
Aaand... the simplest of my complains, but one that annoys me immensely, is about furniture. There are some pieces that look like you can put things on, but you CAN'T! Like some dressers, wardrobes, tables, libraries, etc. Several of my decorating plannings got ruined because of that, I thought I could put a clock or a lamp on a dresser that would look very nice... and I found out it wasn't possible! SO FRUSTRATING!!

Yeah this is the most annoying feature to me. Three of my permanent villagers in my first town, ironically, were from the void or streetpass, but that's the rareeee case where I actually liked the villager or grew to like them (I think I got Fang from streetpass which was cool). I do actually like a lot of T5 villagers that sadly end up in the void, but I think it's more annoying than good. They make new leaf so customisable with PWPs and what not but then it's like SURPRISE ***** there's a new plot on your apple orchard. ugh.

I honestly like most things about the game, even villagers moving in wherever they like. I've only had a couple of instances where I find the plot and shake my head and wish I could move it just a little bit. I actually rather enjoy the randomness of where a villager decides to move in. That aside, I agree with an earlier post: I wish you could hang villager pictures on the wall! This would save so much space and make a room look so nice. -sigh- Though, being able to change someone's mind even if they are in boxes sounds absolutely wonderful.
