One Nintendo account - two islands on separate systems?

I fully aware that only one island can exist on a single Nintendo Switch system.

But could one Nintendo profile control two separate islands, when playing on two separate devices?
You wouldn't be able to play them at the exact same time though.

Yes, you can use 1 Nintendo account on 2 different Switches. So you'll definitly be able to have 2 different islands on 1 account.

If you're using a digital copy, you may only have the game running on 1 Switch at a time though.
