I'll have been playing for three weeks tomorrow. So far this is my favorite version of any AC town I've created. I had an entire section of town all to myself with my house in the middle until Keaton and Hazel moved in, but Hazel moved out yesterday and he'll hopefully be gone soon too. I've saved up over 20 million bells, but I haven't upgraded my house that much beyond an upstairs floor because I don't have that much furniture and I'm still figuring out the direction my decor is going. Similarly, I haven't built many public works projects or planted a lot of trees because I'm still working out the layout of my town, so the perfect rating is a way off still. We'll see how it goes from here. :)

I live in Europe, so of course I got it later, but still right on the release date. Since I still had school and I was way too excited to wait that long, I had to run over to a store right next to my school during the lunch break and get it. Didn't get to start until I got home, though, since I had forgotten to charge my 3DS or take my charger with me.

I restarted a couple of times to avoid getting a beach part I couldn't reach without swimming, and I wanted apples as my native fruit, but I gave in and chose the map I currently have that I'm actually really happy with. The plaza is almost perfectly in front of my town hall, which seems like a good placement.

I decided that my goal to begin with would be to pay off a mortgage everyday, which I did end up doing. Unfortunately, I didn't get such great furniture in that time, so it's mostly empty, especially because I decided to go with the antique challenge for my main character's house, so I moved some furniture over to a side character.

Except for Katrina, I've already gotten all of the main public works projects done. I also just did a renovation on my town hall today that will be done tomorrow, but it'll take me a while to get the matching train station since I don't have many friends that play New Leaf, and I'm not really good at making new ones. I've probably only had about 10 visitors.

Otherwise, I've been working on a nature reserve, which also has my campsite that I'm working on a bit. I'm also using it as a hybrid breeding place, and I've already got one side done. Just need bushes and a wisteria for the other side, as well as some more lilies (the finished side has roses).

I've also got a little square, and I'm planning on adding a park by my cafe, which is on the empty side of my town. Then I've got a Moai statue that I'll probably put something else by. And I decided to put down paths, which I've never done before. I might trade them out for others or make my own, though, I'm not quite sure if I really like them.

Character-wise, I've already used up 3 slots. I'm waiting until I've saved up a bit to start working on the side characters' houses, and I still have to choose where to put the 4th side character. I just know that the 3rd side character will have a fairytale/cutesy style, and I've already got her outfit done.

I'm really excited to see how far I'll get by the end of the summer, and I'm hoping to reach the 200 hour mark soon.

I want to time travel to speed up the process, but does that have any effect on the size of your town tree?

There's more evidence that TT does promote Plaza tree growth. WHY? Oh, I see... ^o^

I waited from 5AM to purchase the game early & spent the time on finding a decent map layout. A month over, it's been great! My only regrets are I can't base jump into the ocean & my perfect fruit is gone. They're slight mishaps; doesn't bother me. My town's always clean & the secluded hybrid garden is soooo amateur.

Well, the highlights so far are Friends coming over... yeah I've had a couple of lemons but 90% of the encounters were superb. Generally courteous, w/ a humorous personality, curious people.

Well right now after a month of playing, I got the game on June 9th. So far I've upgraded my house to the maximum for the first room, and I upgraded the 2nd floor to the max size. I am waiting to get more rooms. I also have done 4 public work projects (yellow bench, campsite, a bridge), I have about 10 neighbors who have moved in, I have also gotten the 2nd floor on the museum. I earned 2 badges. I unlocked the dream suite, T&T mart, and I am working on getting the caf? now. I am trying to complete the regal, modern, modern wood, and rococo series set.

I started on June 9th, sometime past midnight. I only reset once due to getting the wrong face by accident. I didn't put much thought into the layout, fruit or villagers, which I do regret a little bit, but overall I'm pretty satisfied with my town.

As of today I have unlocked everything on Main Street except Katrina's. In the town, the only PWPs I have built are the Caf?, Police Station, a face cut-out board and a custom sign, largely because the villagers never seem to suggest anything I'd like to build (and I still need Margie's picture before I let her move away to build a campsite orz). I haven't done much in terms of the layout of my town as I focused on unlocking things, but I will be starting now that main street is pretty much complete (and my grass is starting to die because of my lack of paths whoops)

My house has the basement, the attic room (currently serving as a bedroom), and two extra first-floor rooms. Overall, the basic theme will be modern and somewhat minimalist, and all the rooms will have a distinct purpose. However, I'm still waiting for the right furniture so at the moment everything is a jumbled-up mess. ^^' I will eventually start up secondary characters and will go all-out with making weird houses for them instead.

I've also celebrated my birthday and got a nice birthday cake (and a few other things) that is sitting in my wardrobe until I build a proper kitchen.

I do TT a little bit, when I stay up until five in the morning and want to play or want to speed up building, though I do it one day at a time and make sure to do all the chores I have to before moving onto the next day. This will probably increase in August when my senior year of high school starts and I get swamped with work /cries

Overall I've had a great time with the game. I can say this is the first AC I've legitimately enjoyed since the GC game and will likely be playing it for a loooong long time :D
