Heres my opinion.

Lighthouse=Brings rarer fish to the ocean or river.

Windmill=Brings rarer bugs. if it doesn't then it brings a slight chance of hybrids or Might increase your town rating .

I have a windmill, but when I get tired of it I'll switch to a Lighthouse. Then when I get tired of the Lighthouse I'll go back to the Windmill. You can easily switch.

After you have a windmill or a lighthouse simply go to the Town Hall and donate another million bells. The next day she will ask if you want to switch from one to the other.

Nah. It is already a million to get the initial windmill or lighthouse. And if you do turnips every Sunday, 1 million bells is nothing

i couldnt say which is beter it's your choice
if you fish alot get the lighthouse bacsue it attracs rare fish, if you catch bugs alot get a windmill because it attracts rare bugs but overal the lighthouse looks way better than the windmill

No you can only get one or the other, then switch between the 2... But only one or the other at a time

I'd get the lighthouse, because I mostly fish...

But if you like hybrids, get the windmill...
