On a scale of 1-10, how shy are you?

I'm at a 4 or so. I'm not really afraid of talking to people or being myself or anything. It's just that sometimes I don't know what to say.

I used to be in the above the 5 area, maybe a 8. Now a days I try to be at least an 4.

like others, it depends on my surroundings. at school, i'm an eight and you'll have to approach me to get me talking and most times i struggle with maintaining conversation. at work, i'm around a five and more outgoing because the people there are open to all kinds of talk. online, i'm a four. hell, i'm behind a computer screen so saying most things i wouldn't say in real life come easier! vuv

10... i've been diagnosed with social anxiety. i'm even been shy around my best friends. i get scared that if i say something wrong to them they'll hate me. i'm just really scared of being judged ;~;

1 in all situations, but people often take my silence around strangers as shyness. However, I'm fine with talking to them, but since I don't know them well I'm observing for the most part. That's how I learn what they're like and how I should talk to them if necessary.

8/10 in general, probably. ;; I even am pretty shy to post on the forums and stuff at times, too. Usually too shy to talk to someone on here or message them first or something, which probably explains why I don't have any friends on here. Oh well! I mean I do have friends and when I'm with them, I'm probably a 0 on the scale, b-but that's probably just 1 or 2...
