I'm so astounded by her town "HOLLOW" that I had to post.
55 days in. She hasn't time traveled and has only ever traded with me. She's never owned a game system in her life, except for her iPhone, which she liked playing "Birds" on...
I bought her an Animal Crossing 3DS XL on launch day (June 9th, 13) because I thought she might like the game after she looked at it on my 3DS... She now carries the 3DS everywhere! She also works a full time job.
This is probably the sweetest post I've ever read on any forum anywhere, and really encapsulates what I think Nintendo in general and Animal Crossing in particular is all about. I'm off to have a look at Hollow now, thanks for posting!
Edit - lots of work gone into this, it's lovely. Odd to see one of my villagers (Goose) wandering round a different town. I'm jealous for the bamboo, the drinking fountain and the water pump in particular. Nice houses too (has the room on the left of the eastern house recently been enlarged?). Looks like your wife's loving this game as much as I am, and for the same reasons too - my hubby loves it as well, but he's not as into the collecting things and laying everything out beautifully as I am.
PS - love the way the statue of David is facing the pillar, so the first thing you see when you walk in is a cute behind!
Jamesflin: Just trading with me. Crazy huh? She almost has a full set of miniaturized fossils too, as well as a complete fossil set in her museum!
Dizzi: Thanks so much for the great post! The east left was just enlarged, yup. She adores the game, as do I. Fun stuff. I have 3 empty houses in my town... Can't get around to decorating them hehehe.
David was backwards 'cause she's convinced he's too "naughty" facing forwards.
