Since PAL 3DS games include Europe, Australia and New Zealand, but I'm not too sure about the codes.

I'm Australian and had a friend in the UK try with my extra Australian Tomodachi and Smash Bros demo codes and they would not work on an EU 3DS, so i'm assuming the Pokemon one is the same.
