Old villagers always visiting?

Sometimes after villagers move out they'll come back for a visit. I've known that from past games, but this has been happening every day. o: Monique moved out a week or so after I began my game and now she is ALWAYS in the plaza. Every day. Is this just a coincidence or does this really happen that often? :c I've seen enough of her face.

Have any of you seen any friendly faces in your town after they've moved out?

Only Curt has moved out from my town, and i haven't seen him yet! i hope too though

I didn't know about this feature. it hasn't happened for me yet.

it takes a while for it to happen, i think they start popping up in your plaza like a month or so after they move out? so far axel, t-bone, and puddles have been hanging around, and usually all three of them are around somewhere between outside the plaza, the shops, and the museum.

it's a pretty nice little touch, even though i didn't like my old villagers all that much it's cool that they don't just disappear off the face of the planet.

Yep, I've seen returning residents shopping. It's a nice feature- would be twice as cool if let's say they're now living in your Friend's town, they could talk about it. Public Works currently in progress, if the Mayor won a contest, recently had their hair done, town rumors, etc...

Ah! Jitters moved out of my town as well. I would like to see him again, but it didn?t happen so far. Eloise is the other one that moved, but I don?t care about her that much.

I had Gigi and she moved out a long time ago and now whenever I'm in main street she's always there...
But I really want to see my other old villagers there too :c Hopefully I can see them

Yes it happens almost every day for me too now. Sometimes two old villagers will be on main street. Kinda breaks my heart because when I see them I remember that they left and wish that I could keep them all in a closet somewhere and never let them leave. T~T

What do you mean? This wasn't a feature in past games.

This has happened to me! Beau moved out of my town within the first two weeks of its development. I time travel so now I'm a couple of months into my town's story, but Beau drops in all the time. He seems to frequent my T.I.Y. the most since I always see him walking around over there.

I have yet to have a visit from an old villager, but I'll be excited and happy when they finally do pop up. It's nice to know they don't just disappear forever, never to be seen again!

All I know is if they moved to a friends town, you could visit them.

omg yes hahaha! cranston, shep, kabuki and blanche (sobs i loved her ;n pretty much LIVE in my shopping plaza! i thought they'd only be there for a few days but i see them everywhere, heheh! move back if you love my town so much, sillies

I'm not sure how long they stay on Main Street but it's a problem when you have friends in your town because they just stay!
But I think they sleep behind the shops when shops close or they fight over the bench or if nooks had a bed in the shop but it's not

Same. Only two villagers have moved from my town, Punchy in September and Robin in February. Never seen them since.

I hate how you need to move more villagers out for new ones to appear on main street. I really want to see Stinky or Lobo again but I'd have to move out at least two more to see them I think :x But yeah, it's a cute feature.
