But I've been working to reset my main town. Last week I was hospitalized for days and was not allowed my 3ds's. I got impatient tonight and got a villager to move in so I could keep moving out villagers to 'clear' my main town.

I lost my beloved dreamie Pietro. I am absolutely gutted. It's all my own stupid fault for trying too quickly to transfer him to another town until my reset.

I am upset beyond words.

I know you have all heard this before and most of you may have done this before.

Still. I had to post or else cry myself to sleep. I give up for tonight. Maybe tomorrow I'll feel better, but I'd best go to bed and try to sleep before I make any more dumb-butt mistakes.

Oh you re going to reset your town? Don't be sad cause you will get him back. If by reset you mean getting a new town, you will have 3-4 starter (don't remember) and the first move in will be a smug, so by that time you can do reset until you see Pietro plot! AND YEA HE WILL BE BACK! or else 16 cycle if you re keeping your current town. Plus take care of yourself don't get too upset, everything will be alright soon~

Thank you all sooo much! (((HUG))) I do feel much better now and have more hope on this new day. I will definitely ask for your help if I need it. I just hope to get to my resetting soon. I still have a few villagers to move out and give away to people who want them so it is taking longer than I thought.

And yeah, it happens to be the same town I had Pietro in, so I'd have to do the 16 cycle or see if I can get him from somebody. I don't want to take him away from you, Blizzard! He IS a sweetie and won me over quickly once I met him. <3

I didn't know that smugs were the first move-ins, tho. That puts a whole new spin on things for me for my other towns. I really thought the personality was just as random as the villager for initial move-ins after you start a new town.

I am resting up and taking it easy, but I have to say that I've REALLY missed this place and my towns. It's good to be home!

Yep! Because when you reset your town, the game essentially has no logged knowledge of you ever having any of those villagers. In literal terms, you're starting from scratch. That's how I got Marshal. I had a friend that really wanted him and I was restarting my town for a better layout. So on the day my sixth villager would of moved in after restarting, I used the reset plot trick until I found Marshal's plot there and saved the second character. :3

Here is the rule: you get five unique personalities to start, and they are never smug or uchi. The sixth will be either uchi, smug, or your last missing personality. Say you started with normal, lazy, peppy, jock, and snooty. Your sixth can be cranky, uchi, or smug. If you were to take a cranky, your seventh will be uchi or smug. If you take an uchi, your eighth will only be a smug. If you waited until then to look for Pietro, you would have a small pool to look through.

This, of course, is thrown out the window if you adopt your sixth, seventh, and/or eighth, unless you adopted one of the missing types.

Your ninth will be completely random after that.

OMG...I never knew any of that stuff. Now I know what to look for and how to go about it. You have all been wonderfully helpful.

And yes, I'll keep my carcass out of the hospital! I'm going to copy and paste that rule so I don't forget. That really makes it MUCH easier to get my dreamy back. Gah...all this time I thought it was a shot out of about 300...

Since you re restarting so getting Pietro is never a problem and free from the evil horror 16 cycle!! Even you don't get him from the first few move in or you get picky on where his plot might be~you can always search for one from villager plaza xD and of cause there's more people here are willing to help if you have any trouble on that xD cheers and remember sickie need more rest!!! >
