You don't need to TT to midnight. That does absolutely nothing.

Is there a chance you may have accidentally TTed back in time? If so, that counts as one day forward so your villager would have already built his house. It could be possible that your villager's fence was already down on the day you last played as your mayor and you missed it so when 6 AM rolled around as a new character, the house showed up.

Maybe its the moving to midnight? Was it the same day at midnight? Or the next day? Perhaps it found that the moving to midnight was the day that it plots, and when you loaded to 5:58am and saved again, it just saved the plot, and at 6am it plotted the house?

Because I saw his horrid plot placement that made me want to throw up ughh i can see it on my screen now please get it away from me.

They saw their plot but when they closed it to reset they loaded a character and the house was there instead of a different plot.

To my knowledge there should not be a plot set for a character until after 6 AM.
Which is why you would TT to 5:58, save and quit, then start a new character. O:

Anyways - I think tinytaylor is right. By TT'ing to 5:58 that day, you set yourself up to TT actually three days forward by the time it hit 6AM.
If the house is already there, you can't plot reset anymore. If your not willing to work around Cole's plot, remember that there are other bunnies out there, anyways!

As in if you logged into your main character you would have a plot sitting for you right?
The system plotted your next plot (if you were to make a new character this would've been the plot you
would have seen) and when it hit 6 am it became permenant because the day started.

Man. I am really bummed out.

I've had an issue when I was plot resetting that sometimes they wouldn't plot. I just made a new character, and they were usually there.

Ah this sounds confusing
Sorry this happened to you, hopefully you can figure it out!

Next time you're plot resetting, I suggest you change the time on your 3DS system forward by one day instead of TTing through Isabelle's settings. That way you don't have to do the whole "set to 5:58 and wait a few minutes until it's the next day" thing. It leaves less room for mistakes.
I know some people don't like to change the time on their system though. Just a suggestion

Or you could just wait until it's the next day irl before plot resetting and not TT at all. Better safe than sorry, and patience is worth it when you're trying to move in a dreamie c:

I cycled out 16 to get Diana back, and then my friend is busy to cycle her out so I bought another new Diana. Now I have an extra one whoops! (giveaway/auction time i guess xD)

But I think you should have no problem! Villagers love remembering their old mayors and towns!

Well, I had already saved is the problem. I save at 5:58 AM when his plot was apparently already ploppped that day and I think I just missed it D;
