Okay SERIOUSLY what did I do WRONG???!

I am unbelievably frustrated right now I don't think you all understand.
I hope one of you guys can explain this to me OH MY GOD.

I'm trying to have a town full of bunnies.
I recently got Cole from someone.
I TT to 11:59 PM and waited til 12:01.
Saved and quit.
TT to 5:58 AM, loaded, saved and quit.
Started up a new character.
Went to look for Cole's fence.
Terrible spot, I could almost throw up.
Home screened, closed software.
Went back in, made a new character again.

He had his house built.
Literally. I didnt change the time or day.
His. House. Was. Built.

I have seriously had no problem in the past with plot-resetting,
but this has happened with Snake, and now Cole.

I have not done anything yet, I have not loaded up on my Mayor yet.
Can I do ANYTHING TO FIX THIS UGHHH.

Please, for the love of god, someone halp before I cry okay.

I think this happened to me with Chrissy! I took her in, TT to 5:58am. Save & quit. Loaded as a new person, she had her house BUILT completely. And she was invited in the day before. I was confused

idk what you did wrong but if you didn't start up your mayor yet, can you close the game and try it with another new character to see if it changes?

How many days did you go forward when you changed the time with your Mayor?
If it was more than 1, then that's probably why his plot was built.

I TT to 11:59 PM and waited til 12:01.
Saved and quit.

This also could have been the reason that screwed everything up for you, I never do this when I plot reset.
I TT to the next day, 5:58AM.

So, TTing to 12:01 doesn't really do anything. It just changes the actual date.

Say it's May 30th in your town at 10 pm. You know that Cole is going to plot tomorrow, so you can TT to 5:58am on May 31st. It will still do the same thing. Then you save quit.

You wait a few minutes and start up your town again, so it's like 6:02am or something (though it does not tell you what time it is when you start a new character) You see his plot and you don't like it so you quit without saving, right?

Then you start up a new character, technically in your town it's probably around 6:10am or something so it wouldn't matter whether you time traveled or not because it would still be plotted in the same place...?

And also, a friend of mine has done it that way before and it hasn't messed up. I traveled forward one day, and his house wasn't there yet. Like his fence wasn't there at all.
So I did indeed travel again another day, and then his fence showed up. Fences only show up after 6 AM so I don't see how the 12 midnight thing would affect it at all. D;

It's supposed to change because your new character has no previous save files.
Therefore it cannot save the Cole house plot.

I had the same problem before with Snake, so a pal told me doing the 11:59 thing may help,
because she couldnt figure out why it messed up.
And yes, that is indeed what I meant.
And no a new day did not start before I quit.
I was probably just turning 5:59 when I had saved.

Oh, you're right. I've done it before I don't know why my brain thought that for a second. I saw a similar problem like this awhile ago. It seems like their game glitched and sometimes while plot resetting their plot wouldn't even show up, just their house. :\

To my knowledge there should not be a plot set for a character until after 6 AM.
Which is why you would TT to 5:58, save and quit, then start a new character. O:

Anyways - I think tinytaylor is right. By TT'ing to 5:58 that day, you set yourself up to TT actually three days forward by the time it hit 6AM.
If the house is already there, you can't plot reset anymore. If your not willing to work around Cole's plot, remember that there are other bunnies out there, anyways!

Yes but a plot was still in the process of being plotted right?
As in if you logged into your main character you would have a plot sitting for you right?
The system plotted your next plot (if you were to make a new character this would've been the plot you
would have seen) and when it hit 6 am it became permenant because the day started.

Because I saw his horrid plot placement that made me want to throw up ughh i can see it on my screen now please get it away from me.
