Time to 'fess up! Lol ...
Is anyone else like me ... A big silly kid who has to stop what I am doing and watch when the train goes by?
(The Pennifer shuffles her feet in embarrassment) ... I especially feel impelled to watch at night when the train is all lighted up ... And I have even run down to edge of town so I could watch it go across the bridge! :D

Or is there anything else like this that you want to share!?

I don't run to watch the train when it goes by, but I have some other little quirks in-game that I do.

Even if I don't plan on playing at the current time, I'll log in around 7PM or 1AM just for the music alone. This is even though I'm aware I could find the pieces on YouTube (and probably extended for hours if I wanted). I just feel the need to log in and have that music playing in my game. I can't explain why. It's become a curious habit that I don't have any strong desire to break out of.

I also like popping balloon presents over my walkway pattern paths, because I like seeing my mayor character freak out when they disappear right before her eyes.

I do the same regarding the train. Also, my favorite thing to do is be on Main Street and watch the Emporium open/close and Shampoodle.

Umm, no. I don't watch the train:) I'm sure I have some other silly habits though. I love the sound of someone arriving on the train, and I love when all the lights turn on at night when it gets dark.

I haven't developed many habits so far in NL (I've only had the game for a few weeks), but I had a lot of silly habits back when I was younger and played WW constantly.

I'd try my hardest to be "accurate" and do what my villagers did: when it was day time, I turned the lights off in my house, and when it was night time I turned them on only while I was inside of it. I'd carry around a watering can or fishing pole even if I didn't plan on watering any flowers or catching any fish because my villagers did it. If it was raining I had to be holding an umbrella. I took the game very seriously, lol.

I like creating theories. I'm highly suspicious over everything.

I'm suspicious when people post that their town got "corrupted." I think that some of them just wanted to reset their town for a perfect map and want free stuff just to get started faster. I also think that Tom Nook, Lyle, and Redd are partners in crime. You know when your golden tools seem to be missing? Lloid steals them and extracts the gold to make more Lloids. This is why you only get regular tools from him.

...Theory accepted as head-canon.

Can I just say, I started reading this as what you did in real life, not as your villager. When I got to the part about carrying a watering can, I decided you were crazy. I finally adjusted my perspective when you got to the part about the fishing pole. And then, of course, I realized that I was the one losing my grip on reality here:)

I don't think I have many habits in NL. I think one of the few that I do have is walking slowly over areas which are more covered in grass. I know that grass will deteriorate even without running over time, but I just keep doing it anyway. I also have the habit of watering the flowers outside my house & pretty much nowhere else. I guess I just like having my garden sparkle. ^^;

I do the same regarding the train. Also, my favorite thing to do is be on Main Street and watch the Emporium open/close and Shampoodle.

My fav music ig is the emporium closing music so I do that too. I just stay in the store and annoy them I'm sure cuz they want to go home! Lol I hate customers like me irl.

Another silly thing I do is blow bubbles and dandelions. I just feel so cute doing those things. Also eating. I like how perfect fruit makes the mayor blush after she eats.

Oh and last thing I'll say is on days when I'm falling, I love to run past villagers and trip in front of them. I must have hundreds of pics of them not giving a **** and its never not funny to me.

Omg haha. No! I'm not that crazy.

I would have to say my silly habit would either be talking to my game out loud(Like, not like a crazy person, like a sane person who talks to video games... lol) , or just walking around to see my town for the trillionth time... I can just sit and walk for hours, its so much fun XD

i look at scenery ever now and then and stare at the train occasionally. to feel immersed in the game or smth lmaoo.

whats with the whole (The Pennifer shuffles her feet in embarrasment) by the way. i dont get that

After visiting the dream suite I had to get PJ for all my players.
At the end of every day the players change into their PJS and go to bed.

Not really. Whenever I'm like going to main street there's always the train and then I have to wait for the gate to open -.- BUT I guess it would be so cool to see at night!

I watch the train too! But only if I'm near the train station and just wait for it to come by til I go back doing whatever I have to do. I also like watching my villagers. Like, just stop and watch them water flowers or shake trees and walk away. LOL oh oh and I kiss them when I find them in their house sleeping! Just like this:

I don't but I can certainly understand why someone would. Train enthusiasts are a real thing (hell its the reason why Train simulator's are so popular) I myself personally like to watch the graffiti go by On RL trains. Though that's because of the graffiti not the train. Hell if I can understand what half of it says but some of it looks neat none the less hehe.

I also love watching the train, hearing the changing music, and whenever I can I go to the Emporium to wait and get kicked out just before it closes.

Now, in RL you are NEVER kicked out of a store! They want you to finish up and THEN sort of/kind of kick you out. But the game actually kicks you out! Lol!

I also am obsessive about checking every inch of the ground for gyroids, fossils, and the dreaded pitfall seed. And now that I have the Dream Suite, if I am lucky enough to have it rain, I'll run and update my DA. And nowadays, I ALWAYS have all my tools with me PLUS am umbrella. Doesn't leave a lot of open space in my inventory, but I feel more prepared, nonetheless.

I like to turn off the lights and put my character to bed before I stop playing for the night. I also like to use emotions around the villagers based on what they did or said. Doesn't make a difference, but it's cute to express joy ingame when they give me something nice.
