OH THE HORROR!!! HE's RETURNED FROM CITY FOLK!

the worst villager just moved into my town RIGHT smack in front of my house! He is MEAN, he is ANNOYING, he is UGLY (i usually dont judge on looks but he's ANNOYING), and he RUINED all of my house patio plans! I have tried the following methods:

1. smacking him constantly with a net
2. pushing him into pitfalls and watch him fall in mercilessly
3. sending him a nasty rotten acorn
4. opening all the gifts he trusted me with
5. even sending him letters with cuss words!

And the best part? When he finally said he was going to move, i said "k bye", and u know what he did?! HE CHANGED HIS MIND BECAUSE HE WANTS TO WORK ON OUR ABUSIVE FRIENDSHIP, even after all the bullying i put him through.

APPARENTLY, mayors have ALL these rules, but VILLAGERS can just PLOP THEIR BUTTS WHEREVER THEY DARN WELL PLEASE

Uh, if you haven't saved already or done much, you could turn off the game to trigger the moving event again and see if he will decide to move.

No but seriously if he asks to move again and changes his mind, just turn off your game.
When you start your game back up he should still ping you to move. Just don't actually talk to him.

Yeah, I was excited about Melba moving in, but she plopped her house in a really nice area I had JUST LITERALLY chopped all of the trees out of, and was planning to use for a PWP.
Stupid Melba.
Also, Amelia asked to move out, and I was like "YES YES PLEASE LEAVE" but she decided to stay also. Apparently she was making so many new friends, she didn't want to go.
Not a good AC day for me.

If he asks to move again and changes his mind, quit the game and go back in and ignore him. If he pings you, ignore him.. and he will leave in a few days time.
If you don't want to ignore him then you can keep resetting until he says he will move. c:

Yeah i had just picked what i though was the perfect town to live in, but then...I invited chief my favorite villager of all time to move in.Awesome right, nope put his house right behind mine and very close to the river i liked to run by.No problem i though i can deal with that.Then i invited Carmen my 2nd all time fave to town, puts her house right in front of the Only Bridge In TOWN!..Needless to say i TT them out to my cycling town, and restarted my main town again.Its easier to just restart the town than cycle though 16 villagers to get them to move back in.

Anything in red: Stop it. Numbers one and two do not help. Number three, there are no acorns in this game. Number four is irrelevant. Number five, I don't think that's helping much if at all. The former two do not help. This is because of a so-called "friendship ladder". Doing either of those will make you fall on that particular ladder. Want him to leave? Get to the top of that ladder. Talking will help. Not much more needs to be said there. Numbers three and four are confusing and irrelevant, respectively. (opening gifts mean nothing) Number five, just send letters, but let's omit swearing.

Anything in blue: The reset trick should solve all your problems.

So true! The ultimate tip is to ignore them for a few days, and right after talk to them until they start "thinking" and stalk them everywhere and they will eventually ask to leave. I tried this with marcel and al. theyre now both outta my town ^^

Yeah, I already know thanks.I've been using the house placement trick ever since.I'm too afraid not to.

I thought in order to get out of that frienship ladder, you have to create a new character and ignore them for one week. So i tried doing that (sorry i forgot to include it), and risked my town by time travelling 1.5 weeks forward. And he was still there So just keep talking? Well this is sad, now peanut, blaire, and pecan will move when i get to the top of the friendship ladder I like them!

In red: I've used this tactic and it has worked, but there hasn't been much luck for others, nor has it been fully proven.
In blue: There really is no risk to TTing if and only if you do it correctly. That is to talk to someone until they shoo you away, and to go one day at a time. Beautiful ordinance should solve flower and weeding problems.
In green: If you remember in CF, they may still go even if you tell them to stay. Not in this game. If you tell them to stay, there is a 100% chance they will stay.

I usually only TT day by day if I get bored, I don't think it is cheating. I just do not have time to play every single day and be on animal crossing while I am doing homework. Sorry this is off topic, but why do so many people look down on TTing?

Variety of reasons. Some say it's cheating because you unlock stuff faster. There are many reasons, that is just one of them.
