Oh my O_o

I was playing Mario Kart, in Battle mode, see? I had two balloons, and kept on getting red shells. Always. Red Shells. You know why? Whenever the spinner-thingy is spinning for which item you get, I pressed slowly this button sequence:

L, Right(on the control pad), L.

Wow. I'm still doing it right now so I don't think there's a coincidence.

Well, that's from what I know. I think it workds if you have 2 balloons, and go L at the very start, Right in the middle, and L at the end of the spinning, and so far I've tried it only on Block Fort.


I'm not sure if the course, enemies, or what block you hit matters, but yeah...
