Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Competitive
Hello, and welcome to The Bell Tree World Championship 2024 Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Competitive! It's a battle for the podium as you compete against your fellow TBT members for the golden trophy!

- Fill in the sign-up form below and post it in the thread.
- Join the match at the specified time!
- Post a thread in the Games Lobby Point Submissions board with proof of participation.
Before & during each game, the host will be in the #mario-kart-8-deluxe Discord channel to answer any questions and chat (or get salty), so feel free to join in on the fun! Instructions on how to join the Discord can be found here. Feel free to post questions below as well!
Please note that you will only be able to post in the TBTWC channels in our Discord server if you have synced your Discord & TBT accounts. If you do not sync your accounts, you will not be able to chat while playing or earn spectator points.
To link your TBT account to Discord, go to the Connected Accounts page and click the Associate with Discord button. If you have any questions, more information can be found here.

- Races will be 150cc, no teams, normal items, no COM.

- Take a screenshot of the final results screen that shows your in-game name.
- Make a new thread in the Games Lobby Point Submissions board.
- Select your team from the 'Your Team' radio buttons, and select Mario Kart (Competitive) in the 'Game Event' dropdown.
- In the body of the thread, include the following:
- Date, time and host of the session you participated in.
- The aforementioned screenshot of the final results screen that shows your in-game name.
For sessions you spectate:
Nothing needs to be done on your part!
Hosts will export a list of spectator activity from Discord and forward it to Jeremy, who will then distribute the points. Please be patient, as this is a one-man operation and there are lots of sessions happening!
In order to qualify for spectator points, you must be actively engaged with the chat and making comments relevant to what is happening in the stream - popping in, saying 'hi' and leaving does not count as spectating.
One session per thread, please! Do not submit for multiple sessions in the same thread.
