Obama thinks entertainment is bad

We can't stop these changes, but we can stop Obama's changes. It's called a gun.

Also, he's just pissed because he proclaimed himself tech-savy earlier on, yet, he can't even work an iTouch.

That came across as very bad. ._.

I think I know what you meant, but most people wouldn't.

I have no clue what he was on about. Please, enlighten us.

Wat. I swear I read somewhere that the White House has 2 Wiis and a 360.

Okay, I hate hypocrites. I hate out President.
I found an article saying that both of his daughters had Wiis, but never that he had an Xbox 360. I find it a little annoying that you choose an offhand joke made in a speech compared against a vague claim that someone read somewhere that "the White House has [...] a 360." to accuse someone of hypocrisy, let alone the president.

... I'm pretty sure that statement's illegal. Just sayin'.

Anyways, he said that these things could be tools of empowerment and education, but also distractions. I was unaware my 360 was an education tool.

I don't care who he is. Was it really a joke? I was never informed of this bit of information, and didn't care to research it so I just post my thoughts.

Why do you highlight 360 in your post so much?

Because he never actually said "Wii" in the video, that's why.

And one sure way to figure out if something is intended as a joke is whether or not it evokes laughter.

He just is trying to make our country one of those countries that lives and breathes work and school. There's no bit of humanity in it. There's no culture. Entertainment is a big part of our culture, and I'd hate to see it when/if America becomes one of those countries.

That's a refreshing new take on the "Obama is just trying to make our county..." meme, to be certain. But he's got quite a long ways to go to turn us into workaholics, wouldn't you say?

Yeah. I didn't mean necessarily he'd turn our country into workaholics. Yeah, he does have a long way to go. That's quite evident I think.

Old joke. Not about killing the pres. If that's what you're thinking.

Wow.
That was very un-needed. I don't get all the hate Obama gets.
