Lets make this clear. The reason why I didn't post information about Canada is because I don't know any information. I understand you guys were in the war and you fought. If you like you can make your own Veterans day for Canada.
.-.

I don't believe that there should be a seperate thread. They're all equal.
We should remember all soldiers today.
I said I don't know anything about Canada and Canada's soldiers. I also believe that every soldier is equal and that every soldier is honored. If you like I will right the Kills and Deaths of those wars I listed.
You can do what you want.
It was obvious you didn't know about Remembrance Day, that's why I posted about Canadians to add on to your post. :r:r:r
Your right. I have edited my original post.

My mom says MOS is not airforce lingo. haha
Kind of is. It is actually called AFSCs.

Army & Marines - MOS

Dude... Veteran's Day is on November 11th for a reason. It had originally been called Armistice Day, and is celebrated in many countries as the end of World War 1.

It was expanded to include honoring all veterans in the 50s.

Ya know, I have two replies to why you should have added info about Canada and other countries:

1. There's an app for that.
2. Wikipedia.

Okay thought I should post this here 'cos it's to do with Veterans/Remeberance Day.

JEERING Muslim extremists burn a giant Remembrance Day poppy yesterday - and defile the commemoration of Britain's dead heroes.
About 40 fanatics protested while millions of people across the nation honoured the men and women who died serving their country.
One flashpoint was the breaking of the two-minute silence at 11am. A bearded Muslim yelled: "British soldiers burn in hell."
Outraged senior Tory MP Patrick Mercer said: "They are beneath contempt."
Christine Gennell, chairwoman of the Army Widows' Association, said: "Every poppy we wear symbolises a serviceman who gave his life. They were burning the memory of someone."

The Guardian said:
Commemorative events were held throughout the world. In South Korea, where he is attending the G20 summit, the prime minister, David Cameron, laid a wreath at the site of the Battle of the Imjin River, scene of the army's bloodiest battle since the end of the first world war. Here, during the Korean War in 1951 the 1st Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment, saw 59 men killed in action and 180 wounded, as well as 526 taken prisoner, of whom 34 died in captivity.
Hundreds gathered at the Menin Gate in Ypres, Belgium, under the names of the 54,389 UK and Commonwealth soldiers who fell during the first world war and whose graves are unknown.
However, in London a small group of protesters calling themselves Muslims Against Crusades burned a model of a poppy and chanted "British soldiers burn in hell." Waving banners which read "Islam will dominate" and "Our dead are in paradise, your dead are in hell", they were kept apart by police from a group of around 50 counter-protesters.

This really sickened me, that people would go and do this on a day of rememerance for those who have died to make our lives better. I know all Muslims aren't like this, but one group like this can really affect people's outlook on this religious group.

That's horrible.
But it sickens me that whenever somebody is muslim the media always adds that in.

I'm glad yours went well, some Fanatics ruined ours by shouting "British Soldiers Burn in Hell" for two minutes before they were mauled by the security!
