"Normal" Villagers..

Why are they so.. difficult to locate in your town?!

I've been looking for Skye for about an hour and I just can't seem to find her. I've checked everywhere! I only have this problem with Normal personality villagers..

Does anyone else notice this sort of thing going on with Normal villagers?

Lolly has been disappearing a lot lately for some odd unexplained reason....but Kitt doesn't do that...odd...

Yeah! Merengue is either right in front of her house or nowhere to be seen (not even in the shops). Even after a couple reloads, she won't show herself at all. But on the other hand, Ava would always be in her house or wandering outside. I'm guessing it's just random coincidence. ^^

I see Nana a lot in my town, and she's a normal villager. So I think this is a coincidence like he said ^

Jambette is pretty easy to locate, but when I had Coco and Celia in my old town, I could never find them.

Mitzi does this all the time. Unless shes in her house or if I know where she is in town I usually have to turn down errands that involve her because shes so hard to locate. I wonder where she poofs off to

Vesta on the other hand is usually in her house, by her house, near retail, or the surrounding area. She rarely vanishes.

When Skye doesn't vanish she's either inside, near her house or around mine.. its so odd. <_<

Funny, because my normals (Eunice and Kiki) are always outside and always in the same area - Eunice is near the bridge by her house, and Kiki is near the event plaza, also by her house. But Lucky (lazy) and Tom (cranky) are ALWAYS missing. I find myself writing letters to them to keep on speaking terms because I almost never run into them around town.

Mmm.. I guess every town has that personality type or villager that likes to vanish a lot when you want to talk to them. I can almost always find Carmen, Whitney and Quillson, but have a hard time locating Skye every now and then.

I've been noticing that too. Molly is one of my most coveted normals, but I never seem to be able to find her! I usually do daily walkarounds about town to check for pings and she is almost never around. Since villagers in stores, the museum, or on ms can't ping, I don't feel like literally running around town looking for her. I usually finally see her in my main town around 8:00 PM.

Now that I think of it... Skye in my main town wasn't ever around a lot either. Maybe it's character-specific and not personality? That would probably be too complicated. or yes, maybe each town has it's own set of personalities that resist the urge to socialize.

I have the same problem with Fauna. I can never find her. I talk to her to make sure she doesn't move but she hides from me.

and in my old town, Cally was never elusive. nor was Deena. or Chevre. so I dunno about that. :y

Heh its a bit ironic now because Skye's outside her house now and won't leave the area, but Chief is no where to be found right now. <_<

I've noticed it, too. Sometimes Merengue may be out somewhere for a while and I'll see Fauna everywhere and vice versa.
