Nook's Cranny Upgrade!

I got the announcement that it will be closed today for the upgrade! Was wondering when I'd be getting the upgrade triggered. kinda happy about it! Really hoping it helps me get some better goodies to decorate with. Also, more flower seeds. >_>

Anyways, anyone else get the announcement for this today, or getting close?

Congrats! Apparently the exterior of the store changes very slightly with the seasons, so that's a kind of cool little thing to look forward to

i didn't think i would for at least 2 more days but i'm so glad to finally expand my shop ♡

I did do a little time travel to get the bedhead hair unlocked and I was afraid it would count towards the upgrade, but I did it before I even 'progressed' the tutorial and before I even plotted the shop down... so luckily my little session of briefly time travelling for hair ended up not counting towards it.

And judging from everyone else's comment it seems like today is the day for a lot of people that started at digital release time!

If you progressed far enough at the midnight launch you should've gotten the message yesterday iirc. Today is the day for people who got it on the ''normal'' launch day.

Did you start before 5AM March 20, or after 5AM March 20? If you started after, you should get the announcement later today, assuming requirements were met.

If the announcement of closure was today then the shop will close the day after for construction and open the following day.

Yes, got my announcement today! Got the game on the 20th. I think a lot of non-TTer's will get it today.

This will mean Nook's shop will be closed on Earth day. I am wondering if this will present any potential challenges? Hopefully not!

Mine is going to be closed today actually. I'm pretty excited. I think a lot of my friends are gonna have theirs closed today as well!
