Nookazon Moderators Rant

I’ve strayed from Nookazon for a while now, but I will say that there’s a lot that isn’t optimal there (like the whole being able to review without a transaction). My biggest problem is the inflation of items, however. For the longest time you’d have to pay at LEAST 60 NMT for a stack of pinecones.

That's honestly a crime.

WHUT????

I'd have given them to you for free! ^_^
Hehe I’m addicted to foraging so I’ve got a load in storage, and I’m sure to accumulate more over the next few months. I like those sorts of repetitive things running in the background while I’m watching tv/youtube!

I’m planning on giving at least a few stacks away eventually because of it. It really irked me seeing those prices.

I had to buy some...although at the hugely reasonable price of 5 TBT per stack. I couldn't take the tree shaking.

I can say that foraging isn’t for everyone (I primarily play Pokémon to shiny hunt so I’m used to repetitive, monotonous tasks). That DOES sound way more reasonable to price them, though.

I would rather watch my 300+ Vulpixes hatch all over again to get that shiny than shake a tree for possibly no acorns/pinecones lol

Actually I just realized I've never hunted shinies, I've only bred for them.

Hehe, I count breeding for shinyness as a method of hunting...

But yea, I’m NEVER paying for them again since I like foraging (yes, I DID pay 60 NMT once. Never again (>(σ )< ))

I don't mind it either, funnily enough.
Hate the sticks. LOVE the pine cones. ^_^

I've got about 300! :)

I don't know anymore.....
Well, think it over.

Just to put things in perspective for you though...I've used TBT since 2013, and have only had 1 bad interaction. Literally 1. I was left negative feedback for ending a session when a person refused to leave my town in NL after bringing the incorrect item for trade. I appealed to the mods that be, and lo and behold, that feedback was removed.

I can't speak for the other AC sites, but there's fairs and events and all sorts of good stuff that happens here year round too. I honestly can't think of a negative thing to say about TBT.

I can back this up. This place is overall more warm, and the mods here are pretty quick (and cool). I’ve only been here for a couple months but everyone has been pretty nice!

(sigh)....I guess I will have to agree with everyone. Waiting patiently is the the only way to get the response you need. I feel like an idiot acting so foolish for having no patience but that was only because I've been ghosted so many times that I let it get to me and react very immature. For that I apologize to anyone who was just trying to help.

It’s alright. I can understand that if you’ve had a couple bad trades that it could wear on you. This probably was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Also, if that guy was a serial skimmer (sounds like it if they were banned for it) that is a problem on their end. And as others have mentioned retaliation reviews (especially one stars) are not cool at all. I actually helped a seller out with getting a retaliation review straightened out.

Well said. Patience and time go hand in hand, as time heals all wounds.

...and because we took the time to hash it out, we also learned that @Your Local Wild Child and @John Wick are hoarding an insane amount of woodland goods...no doubt for some nefarious purposes...

Anyways, glad you feel better.
